Hi there,
Sorry for the absence last week, unfortunately I'd had a fall, and injured my right arm and wrist, so was out of action for a week, it's still quite painful, but I can manage to use the computer again, and craft, thank goodness, but I do keep uttering some rude expletives now and again, I am sorry to say, lol !!!!!
Anyway, it's Fabulous Friday, and time for me to share one of my Visible Image creations, this is a card for the boys or girls who are into music.
The stamp set I used was......
Rock Out, and the stencil I used was.....Play Guitar.
The background was achieved by smearing very small blobs of acrylic paint (about 4 or 5 colours), over black card using a palette knife in random directions. Then I placed the Stencil over the dry background, with one of the colours of paint on a piece of foam, I pounced through the stencil.
Using the star boarder, with Black Versafine ink, I stamped around three of the edges, on the forth edge (the bottom), I used a piece of copy paper to get a straight edge, and blended with some Black Soot Oxide ink, to make the ground. After drying all the ink with a heat tool, I stamped the sentiment and the image, using an embossing pad, and heat embossed with Wow Black Glint embossing powder, I then sprinkled a small amount of Wow Totally Teal embossing glitter, to one side of the image, and heated from below the card, so's the powder didn't blow off. I finished off with some highlights, using a white pigment pen.
