Visible Image Stamps, Visible Image Monolith, Alcohol Inks, Wow Embossing Powders.

Hi there,

Today's share is a Visible Image Monolith which I decorated for one on the TV shows we've done recently.
The Visible Image stamps I used for this was the......Dragonfly Set

Side one of the monolith.
I made the backgrounds for the Monolith and the card with Yupo paper and Alcohol Inks, a fun technique.

Side two of the Monolith.
I added a die cut top to the Monolith, to give it a classical sort of look, and painted it, the edges and the base of the Monolith with Gold Acrylic Paint.

The Dragonfly wings were heat embossed with White Powder, and coloured with Alcohol ink Pens, and the body was heat embossed with Black Powder, and fussy cut, and attached to the wings. They sit on a piece of card, that has also been painted with Gold Acrylic paint.

I inked and coloured all the components, and glued everything to the Monolith whilst it was flat, only gluing the foot on, when everything was completely dry.

Here is my DT inspiration........

Made using Distress inks for the background and the flowers, and stamped with Versafine Black ink, on the main images.
The stamps I used on this card are.......

This fabulous Vintage Triple Frame is from Candy Box Crafts, which I painted using cheap tester pots, and some Cosmic Shimmer Crackle Glaze, I then decorated the back using some 'Sweet Poppy Stencils'  and some Distress inks, and on the front, I used Embossing powder and heat embossed, coloured and cut out the images, and glued them on using Glue gel, then loaded on the Stickles, unfortunately the photo's don't show the sparkle.

These are the stamps I used........

Friday 1 April 2016

Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks and Wow Embossing Powder.

Hello there,

Gosh it's Friday again, the weeks seem to go so fast.
Today's share is a card I made with some awesome Visible Image Stamps
and look, there's no pink !!!!!!

The stamps I used are.......

I blended a couple of Distress inks together on the background, and randomly stamped the Tangled Tape using Black Versafine ink.
Using a separate piece of card, I stamped the Cassette, using Versamark and heat embossed with Black embossing powder, and fussy cut.
On a smaller piece of card, which I'd coloured with distress inks beforehnd, I stamped the sentiment, again using Versamark, and heat embossing.
I positioned the Cassette at the corner of the card, and used the pieces that I cut off, on each side of the card, so no wastage !!!!

Do give these Visible Image places a visit......

Mark Alexander and I, will be on Create & Craft TV on Saturday 16th April at 1pm, I hope you'll join us for some more inky fun.

Thank you for popping in, hugs, Pauline xxxx
