Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks, & Wow embossing powder.

Hi again,

I'm off on my holibobs tomorrow, two wonderful weeks in Swanage, Dorset,
I can't wait, although I know the time will go all too fast !!!!

Today I'd like to share a Birthday card I created, using some of the fabulous stamps available form Visible Image Stamps. It was made for one of my DT teamies Kay, who loves everything dark and mysterious.

The Visible Image stamps used for this project are......
The dragon, the seal and the sentiment from Orin Destiny set, the rocks from Myrddin Magick set, and the Runic Background set.

I used distress inks for the background, and stamped using the Runic Background, without a block, so I got the sort of staggered look.

The fabulous Dragon was stamped in Versamark, and heat embossed using a Wow black sparkle powder, the seal was also stamped with Versamark and heat embossed using Wow gold sparkle powder. The rocks were stamped and coloured on a separate piece of card, and fussy cut, then stacked onto the main image. I added the sentiment, also in Black sparkle powder, some pink card and a bit of ribbon, to make it a bit more girly !!!

As a finishing touch, I also stamped the dragon onto the back of the envelope.

I hope this card has inspired you a little, there are still a couple of days left to enter the June Challenge, 'Man oh Man', for your chance to win £20 of new stamps, see all the info HERE.

You can also enter in the Facebook group HERE.

Thank you once again for your visit, please leave me a comment, I do love reading them, even if I don't reply.

Till next time friends, hugs Pauline xxxx

Visible Image Stamps, Dylusions, Distress inks, Wow embossing powders.

Hi there crafty friends,

I'm on countdown to my holidays, 1 week left to go, or 8 sleeps, I can't wait.

Today, I'd like to share another creation using some more fabulous

The stamps I used on this 6"x 6" card were....

I started with an A4 piece of card, which I sprayed with Dylusions in red, blue and yellow, you never really know how they will come out, lol, out of it I cut a 5 1/4" square piece, this became my background.
I stamped over this square using Grunge Harlequin, in a combination of
red and green Distress inks. I stamped the Chandelier to the left, in Versamark, and heat embossed in orange powder.
Using black Distress ink, I shaded above the Chandelier, to give the impression of cascading light.
With the remaining coloured card, I stamped the Face in versamark, and heat embossed with a bronze powder, cut to size then added highlights to her eye with a white pen. The sentiment was heat embossed with black powder.

I hope you'll have a go at the Visible Image Challenge, the June theme is
'Man Oh Man', and you have just one week left, to get crafting, for a chance to win £20 of new stamps. Check it all out HERE.

You can also enter in the Facebook Group, if you haven't got a blog, HERE.

Visible Image stamps, Distress inks, Dylusions, Wow embossing powders.

Hello, I'm back again,

Today is the official launch of the New Visible Image,
 'Revolution' set of Stamps,

I have more projects to share with you, I do love these stamps.......

I made a crown out of the two sizes of Fleur De Lys stamps in the set, on this 6"x 6" card, with a Dylusions ink background, layered with stamping and heat embossing.

The crown is quite dimensional...

The next is a quick tag, using Distress inks, and heat embossing.

This last one is 6"x 8", the background is Distress inks, with layered stamping, and the fab horses are heat embossed onto heat-proof acetate, and roughly cut.

I also heat embossed the flourish onto acetate and cut out, then used Pinflair gel to give it all dimension.

Thank you once again for visiting, I do hope you check out these fantastic new stamps, they are so versatile, and I love them. There are also lots of
DT inspiration on the Visible Image Blog, so take a look at that too.

The next card is 6"x 6", and quite quirky, lol, my imaginations does run wild sometimes !!!

I made the Fleur De Lys fly, using 2 pairs of wings from the
Time after Time set, the rest of the stamps are in the Revolution set.

Sweet Poppy Stencils, Distress inks, and Promarkers.

Hi there,

I was very lucky recently, to be asked by the
lovely Lucy of Sweet Poppy Stencils
to join her fabulous Design Team, what an honour.

So armed with a couple of super stencils, some Translucent paste, microbeads, Distress inks, and Promarkers I had a little play.

The stencils I used were, Dress 8 - Charlotte and Teardrop Background.
I sponged Distress ink through the Teardrop background, straight onto a masked 8"x 8" card blank, and then added some faux stitching.

On another piece of card, I traced through the Dress stencil with a black pen, took the stencil away and coloured using Promarkers. I then popped the stencil back on. smoothed Translucent paste through, removed the stencil carefully, poured over the Microbeads, and put aside to dry.

I matted and layered up the Dress, added some ribbon and a sentiment.

I do hope you like my first DT project for Sweet Poppy.

Thank you so much for visiting, and for the fab comments.

Till next time,
Hugs, Pauline xxxx

Lavinia stamps, Distress inks,

Helloooo,

Today is the start of a new Lavinia Stamps Challenge,
the theme for June is 'Add some beads or gems'.

I have created 2 cards as my DT inspiration for this months Challenge,
I hope you like them.

This first card was very simple to do, I used a mask for the sun, and blended distress inks to make the background, I then stamped the bottom with 'Field Grass', and I used the stem of the 'Zen Thistle' for the flower stems.

I stamped the 'Zen small flowers', and the 'Bee' onto a seperate piece of card, coloured with my Promarkers, and fussy cut them.

I attached them with glue gel, and added the sentiment 'Fairy Dust is like Love', lastly I added coloured gems to the middle of the flowers.

For this card, I stamped the background using 'Fairy Words', then sprayed the whole thing with Perfect Pearl mists, using 3 colours, although the bling does'nt photo well. I stamped the 'Nigella Damascena', and added some Frantage.

The beautiful 'Zen Butterfly', I stamped onto acetate, and heat embossed, coloured with Promarkers on the reverse, then painted with white acrylic paint, to make the colours pop. I fussy cut it, attached it with glue gel, and added gems.

All the details, DT inspiration, rules etc. for the 'Lavinia Challenge',
can be found........... HERE
please only use Lavinia Stamps in your entry, there's a chance of winning a whopping £40 voucher to spend on the website.

Visible Image, Distress inks, Wow embossing powder, Crackle accents and Glossy accents.

Hi there,

It' the first 1st the month, and that means a new Visible Image Challenge has begun, and the June theme is.....'Man Oh Man',
this could be for for Fathers day, Birthday's, Anniversary's, or any occasion that needs a masculine card or project.

I've made 2 cards for Fathers Day, each of them using the fabulous Men's Collage, Bronte Script and Tyre Marks.

For the first card, I stamped the Men's Collage 4 times, the first layer I stamped in Broken China ink, also stamping the Winter Tree in Vintage Photo, on this layer too, then ripped the card around the edges.
The second layer I stamped in Versamark, heat embossed with silver powder, and fussy cut the pocket watch, I also cut out the face of it too.
The third layer was stamped in Black, out of this I fussy cut the pocket watch again, glued it behind the silver one, then added crackle accents to the face.

The last layer was again stamped in Versamark, heat embossed in black, and the classic car was fussy cut.
All the layers were then glued into place with Pinflair gel, and mounted on a piece of ripped Kraft card.
The background was stamped with Bronte Scipt, using Vintage photo and Broken China, and mounted onto some ripped Kraft card.
I coloured a piece of American seam binding with the distress inks, then stamped the Tyre marks using black Stazon ink. The finishing touch was the sentiment, taken from the Handy Hints set.

The second card, was made in a similar way, but without ll the layers. I coloured on the reverse side of a piece of Centura  Card, in 4 different Distress colours, and stamped the Mens Collage.
The background was stamped with the Bronte Script in Mustard Seed, then over stamped with the Tyre Marks stamp, which I coloured using the 4 colours, making it multi coloured.

I added a few black gems and the sentiment.

I hope I've given you a little bit of inspiration, and that you'll have a go and enter the Challenge, there's a chance of winning £20 of new stamps, and there are loads of smashers to choose from, take a look at the other DT creations and enter HERE..
