Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks, Promarkers & Stickles

Hi there,

I'm back again, this time with the details of my DT makes for the new
which starts today 1st February 2014, the theme is 'Love'.

The stamps I used on my first card are....

I started with a piece of card, and made a boarder using the small damask stamp, and Distress inks. I then created the background, again using Distress inks, stamping the castle, and trees to make a scene, filling in drive and grass with a small piece of cut and dry. I added the blossom and poppies with acrylic paint.

I stamped Bradley and Emma onto a separate piece of card, and coloured them with Promarkers, fussy cut them, and added them to the scene to give a bit more dimension. I stamped the 'Once upon a Time', fussy cut it and added it, and the 'Immortal Love' is on shrink plastic.

Most of you will know by now, that the lovely Sue Ashcroft, one of my fellow Design Team members, got married on Thursday, this is the card I made for her and her new Husband Steve, their theme was Black, White and red. Unfortunately, due to our blessed mail service, they are yet to see it.
Sue and Steve, Congratulations and I wish you both, a life full of happiness.

The stamps I used are....
and the small damask stamp from the Immortal Love.

I stamped the sentiment, and cut it out using a heart die, added pleated ribbon around the edges. I stamped the lower portion of cad with the small damask stamp, and added pleated ribbon to the top.

The flowers are made from the wings of the butterflies, 3 small and 1 large, coated with stickles with a gem in the centre. I also added  some black foliage.

Don't forget to enter the Challenge, you could win £20 to spend on new stamps, but make sure you actually use a Visible Image stamp, and no digi's. See the DT inspiration and read the rules HERE.

Thank you for visiting, please leave me a comment, I love to know what you think of my creations.

Take care, hugs, Pauline xxxx
