Visible Image Stamps and Stencils, Ranger Distress inks, Versafine Clair Ink, Zig Clean Colour Brush Pens, Indigoblu Extra thick Slap it on, & Indigoblu Unicorn Glitter.

Hello,

It's Fabulous Fortnightly Friday, and my day to share some 'Visible Image' love, I recently created this card for Helen and Mark, when they moved house, it just shows that you can use stamps in a different way to show the sentiment of the occasion.

The stamps I used on this card are.......
and the two stencils I used are...... 1983 and Strobes.
I blended Distress Inks through the fabulous 1983 Stencil, turning the stencil around for each colour I used, Salty Ocean, Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry and Candid Apple, I then did some background stamping, using the script stamp with Salty Ocean, and made some marks using some bottle tops with Picked Raspberry Distress ink. This all had to be totally dry, before I put translucent embossing paste, through the Strobe stencil using a spatula, then whilst the paste was still wet, I added some translucent glitter on the top, and left it to dry naturally.

In the meantime, on some smooth stamping card, I stamped the arms from 'You are not Alone', the house and birds and sentiment from 'Oz Dorothy and Toto' stamp set, using Versafine Clair Nocturn Ink, I then fussy cut the arms out, and used the matching dies to cut out the elements from the Ox sets. I coloured in the hands using Zig Clean Color Brush Pens, and added some Black glitter to the house, to make it stand out.
I attached all the bits to the background with 3D Glue gel for dimension, simplessss !!!!

Visible Image Stamps, Clean Color Brush Pens, Bockingford Hot Pressed Watercolour Paper, Craft Artist Glitter Touch, Versafine Ink.

Hi there,

It's Fabulous Fortnightly Friday, and my turn to share a creation of mine, using awesome Visible Image products.

This is a new super stamp set, with a retro car, great for men, but equally good for women too. The stamps I used were.......
The Right Direction, it has all the images that I've used,  in the stamp set, and, it's in the Black Friday sale, along with loads of other awesome stamp sets, fill your boots before they sell out.

I started off with some Bockingford watercolour 300gsm paper, and gently spritzed it with water, then using Distress inks on my glass mat, picked up the colour, you can also do this with a paint brush, but please don't add any water to your ink pads. Once this was all dry ( I dried it naturally, so's not to lighten any of the colour ) I stamped out the person silhouette, using an Versafine Onyx Black ink pad, I then fussy cut them all, and added some more colour with my Zig Clean Colour Brush Pens. I put these to one side, and stamped out the Car, fussy cut it, and then coloured it blue and added some sparkle with a Craft Artist Glitter Touch.
I cut my background 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" and stamped the building line and Versafine Onyx Black ink, again this stamp is in the Right Direction Stamp set, I used my Distress Inks, water and a brush to add the colour to the sky and the buildings, I also stamped the Steering wheel, top left, above this I added  half of the sentiment (Steer Yourself) which I had stamped onto black card with a Wow Embossing Pad, and heat embossed with Fluorescent Blue embossing powder, I repeated that using 'In the Right Direction'.
I attached all the people and the car with 3D Glue Gel, to give dimension, then added some shadow with a light grey Brush Pen.

Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Translucent Embossing Paste, Indigo Blu Unicorn Sparkle Glitter, Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Pens, Versafine Clair Ink Pads.

 Helllloooooo,

It's Fortnightly Fabulous Friday, although you may have noticed that I haven't blogged for four weeks, not two, sorry !!!!

Today's card is very close to my heart, it's made using the gorgeous 'Visible Image', 'Erika's Maple' stamp set, which was designed and made by Helen and Mark at 'Visible Image' as a beautiful tribute to our lovely friend Erika Philpott, who died far too young, earlier this year. She was such a vibrant, exceptionally kind person, who showed great strength and vitality, she absolutely glowed, and brightened up the most gloomy days with her wonderful personality, and zest for life, she is very greatly missed by a lot of people, especially by me.

I made this card with Erika in mind, and I could hear her telling me to add more purple (her favourite colour) and much more glitter, like me, she loved her sparkles !!!!!

I made the background on Glossy Card, cut to 7" x 7", using ordinary Distress Inks, adding the ink to my mat, spritzing with water, and pulling the card through it, until I had covered most of the card, and it looked good !!!! I then used the smaller stamps out of the 'Creative Chaos' stamp set, to give interest, stamping with Oxide inks. I also blended all the edges of the background card with Wilted Violet Distress Ink. I used the 'Visible Image' Meshing Around stencil, placing it in the middle of the background, and with a palette knife spread some Indigo Blu, super thick Slap it on ( which dries clear), after removing the stencil, I added Unicorn Sparkle Glitter, onto the wet paste, and put aside to dry.

I stamped out loads of the Maple leaves, using the medium leaf and the smaller leaves, using Versafine Clair ink pads, in Red, Orange, yellow and green, the colours of Autumn. I then fussy cut all the leaves, and coloured them with Clean Color pens, and blended them with water and a brush. When they were all dry, I used some Craft Artist Glitter Touch, down the middle of each leaf, which gives a subtle Mica Glitter.

Using the fussy cut leaves, and some 3D glue Gel, I fashioned a heart wreath, around the sparkle background, I used some of the smaller leaves to make the initials E P  in the middle. I stamped all the words, and the sentiment from Erika's set, onto some white card, fussy cut them, and with a blending tool and some Wilted Violet, I edged the white words and the sentiment, to tie it into the colour scheme, then placed them on top of the leaves.

I hope I've done Erika's memory justice, this card was made with all my love, and the stamp set is a truly beautiful tribute to a very beautiful person.

p.s. we will be using this stamp set at my Warwick Workshop, this Sunday 17th November, I still have some places if anyone is interested, £25 each 10am-4pm. Message me for further details.

Visible Image Stamps and Stencils, Distress Inks, Versafine, Wow Embossing Powders, and Ranger Rock Candy Crackle Paint.

Hello there,

I'm back with one of my 'Visible Image' creations, as it's
Fabulous Fortnightly Friday.
I thought I'd make something suitable for the Halloween mood, that a lot of Crafters seem to be in at the moment....... well, it is only a couple of weeks away !!!!

The fabulous 'Visible Image' stamps I used were........
the stencil I used was...... Dark Hearts.

So, first thing was to blend a background, using Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry and Salty Ocean Distress Inks (my three 'go too' colours), then with some water in my hand I splashed it, dripping it around, then drying it with my heat tool. I then stamped twice in the middle of the background, with the cracked glass stamp out of the 'How Fragile' set, using Worn Lipstick Oxide Ink.
Placing the stencil onto the background, I blended through it  with Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink, but only around the edges, I took the stencil away, then again all the edges again with the same ink.
On some new white card, with the light bulb stamps, (masking off the filament), I stamped using Versafine Onyx Black, I then stamped the large skull, into the large light bulb, using Versafine Clair ink in colour 'Cheerful', and using a Koi orange watercolour pen, I  coloured the middle bit, I repeated this with the smaller skull into the smaller light bulb.
Using the little light bulb from the 'Glimmer of Light' set, again masking off the filament, I stamped 5 of them, then, just using the head of the skeleton, I stamped it inside the bulbs. I also stamped the sentiment, and fussy cut everything.
On some black card, I stamped the whole skeleton with embossing ink, then used 'Wow Opaque Bright White Embossing powder, heated it, then fussy cut that too.
I also stamped the wonderful Death Head Moth onto some white card, heat embossed it with 'Wow' Primary Ebony Embossing Powder, fussy cut it, then coloured with Koi watercolour pens.
I attached everything together, using Pinlair 3D Glue Gel, then painted a thick coat of Ranger Rock Candy Crackle Paint, onto all the bulbs.

Visible Image Stamps and Stencils, Brea Reese Liquid Inks, Daler Rouney Pearl Liquid Acrylics, Zig Watercolor Real Brush Pens, & Wow EP.

Hello again,

It's Fabulous Fortnightly Friday, my day to share some 'Visible Image' love.

I hope you've got your sunglasses handy, as this creation is a rather bright one, lol, well you know me, and if you don't well check out the rest of my blog !!!!!

The 'Visible Image' stamps I used were........

My background is a piece of Bockingford hot pressed watercolour card, which I spritzed with water, then dropped some Brea Reese watercolour ink, in various colours, and let it bleed out, I then added some drops of Daler Rouney Pearl liquid acrylic ink, then spritzed it again, and left it to dry. The pearl from the liquid acrylic ink, travelled around, giving the colourful background a fabulous pearl sheen.
Whilst this was drying, on some more Bockingford card, I stamped the Thorax from Just Breathe, twice using Versafine Onyx Black ink, and dried them. I then coloured them using some Zig Watercolor Real Brush Pens, and fussy cut them !!!! I left one whole, and cut the other one so's that only the front ribs were left, so I could layer them up.

I stamped the large sparkle stamp, from Ray's of Light, and the sentiment onto some white card with Versamark, and heat embossed using some Wow Blue Glitz Embossing Glitter, and fussy cut it, leaving a small amount of white card around them.
When the background was dry, I stamped randomly with the small sparkle stamps, using Black ink, then I assembled the images, with 3D glue Gel, the whole thorax first, then the large sparkle, then the rib cage.

Visible Image Stamps and Stencils, Distress Ink, Wow Embossing Powder, Pebeo Acrylic paints, Cosmic Shimmer Luna paste & Stickles.

Hi there,

It's Fabulous Friday, and here's my fortnightly post for 'Visible Image Stamps'.

Today it's a 7" x 7"  mixed media card, using some superb products from Visible Image......
Creative Chaos stamp set, Life is Beautiful stamp set
and Stop Meshing Around stencil.

My background was an A4 piece of Glossy Card, using Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry and Salty Ocean, to colour it, adding the ink separately onto my glass mat, spritzing with water, then pulling the card through it, adding more ink to cover the card as necessary.

I cut a piece off this coloured card, 6" x 6", then using the circle filler stamps from both sets, I stamped using the same Distress ink colours, as before.

I placed the stencil over the inked background, and added Cosmic Shimmer, Moonlight Pearl Luna paste through it. While this was drying, I stamped the Hummingbird with a Wow Embossing Pad, onto heat resistant acetate, and used Wow Ebony Embossing Powder, and heated. I fussy cut this, and used Acrylic paint on the reverse, and left to dry.

On a piece of Bockingford hot press water colour paper, I stamped the flowers, three large and three small, with Versafine Onyx Black ink, and heat embossed them with Wow Clear Holographic EP, I fussy cut them, then coloured them with Distress Ink, I also stamped some stalks, and embossed them again with the holographic EP, and fussy cut these too.

On the left over coloured glossy card, I stamped the sentiments with Versafine Onyx Black ink, and heat embossed them with Wow Holographic EP, then fussy cut them too.

I adhered all the components to the card, using 3D glue Gel for added dimension, then using a white pen, I highlighted the bird, and added Stickes for that extra bling.

Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Versafine, Clean Color Brush Pens, & Stickles.

Hellooo,

It's Fabulous Friday, my day to share a card I've made using some of the awesome stamps available from 'Visible Image'.

The stamps I used on this 6" x6" card were.........

My background was achieved by blending Distress inks randonly, Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry and Salty Ocean, before flicking a little water over it to bleach the colour out. I then blended Chipped Sapphire around the edges, and again blended a touch of Black Soot, just on the very edges.
I stamped with the large circular stamp out of the 'Ripple Effect', after I used masking tape across the middle of the stamp, and then another piece of tape to mask off half the stamp again, meaning, that I was only stamping with a quarter of the stamp, and some Gold Ink, (you can just about see it in the photo) to give a subtle sparkle, I did this four times.

On a separate piece of white card, I stamped the moth, light bulbs and sentiment, fussy cutting them, and colouring them with my Clean Color Brush Pens (I left the sentiment white, but went around the edges with my yellow pen). I adhered these to my background, with 3D glue Gel, when the glue was dry, I stamped the smallest Moth three times, then used a Sakura sparkle pen and a white pen to add some highlights, and of course Stickles to finish it off.
