Visible Image Stamps and Stencils, and Distress Inks.

Hi again,

Just a quick post today,  it's Fabulous Friday, and I am off to spend the weekend with the infamous Eileen Godwin, and a fabulous group of crafters, for a 12 hour Crafterthon in aid of charity.
So it's time for me to share some 'Visible Image' love, and again I have used a couple of their awesome Stencils for my main image.

The stencils I used were......
along with the 'make you story incredible' sentiment,
from the awesome 'Voices in your Head' stamp set.

I have made this card with men in mind, but of course it could be unisex.
I started the card by placing the 'Stop Meshing Around' stencil onto some white card, and blended some Mustard Seed Distress Ink through it. I turned the stencil around and blended through using Peacock Feathers. I then placed the 'Sax it Up' on the background, and blended through using Candid Apple, whilst the stencil was still in place, using some Black Soot, I gently blended around the outline of the Sax man. The sentiment was achieved by repeating the process with the Meshing Around, and then stamping 'Incredible' in Candid apple, going around the letters with a black pen, and stamping 'Make your Story' in black ink.

Visible Image Stamps and Stencils, Distress Inks, Sweet Poppy Stencil paste & Stickles.

I'm back again, it's Fabulous Friday, and I'm here to share another bit of inspiration using some awesome products from 'Visible Image'.

Have you seen their new stamps and stencils, they are fantastic, and today's share is a card I made using 3 of the new Stencils and one of their new stamps.

The stencils I used were .....
and the stamp I used was a sentiment from the .....

I blended three colours of Distress Ink, onto a piece of card, ( Salty Ocean, Mustard Seed and Picked Raspberry) then adding the 'Count Me In' stencil over the top, I blending through the stencil, using the same colours, but putting Pink over Yellow, blue over Pink etc.
I then used the inky drip bit of the 'Butterfly Ink' stencil, and blended through it with Blueprint Sketch, all around the edges of the card.
Next came the awesome 'Eye Contact' stencil, I placed this on top of the coloured background, secured it with masking tape, and using a spatula, added some 'Sweet Poppy Stencil' dimension paste through the stencil. When it was dry using some white gesso, I whitened up the eye, and added some Distress into the eye iris, and some stardust stickles over the top of the dry paste.
I used the 'Butterfly Ink' stencil again, for the tear drops, with some white Liquid Pearl. I stamped the sentiment using a dark blue ink, and fussy cut it.

Lavinia Stamps, Faber Castell Oil Pastels, Versafine Ink Pad & Stickles.

Hello,

It's the middle of the month, so I'm just popping by to remind you about the 'Lavinia May Creative Challenge', there is still time to get your creative juices going, to make a project, using Lavinia Stamps of course, to be in with a chance of winning a fabulous £40 voucher, to spend on their website.

Here is my Mid-month inspiration for you.........

I only used one beautiful stamp for this card, which is the.....

I used my Oil Pastels to create the background, then stamped the lanterns 2 or 3 times with a grey Versafine ink pad, and coloured in using the pastels, I also stamped the lanterns twice onto a piece of white card, using a Black Versafine ink pad, coloured them in using some watercolour pens, and fussy cut them, adding them to the card with 3d Glue gel.

To finish off, I used a white pigment pen to do some highlighting, and some Stardust Stickles for a bit of added sparkle.

Visible Image Stamps and Stencils, Pebeo Dyna Paints, and Wow Embossing Powder.

It's Fabulous Friday, and my day to share some 'Visible Image' love. Today I am sharing my first project using the brand new Humming Bird stamp set called 'Life Is Beautiful.
Unfortunately, it was a very sunny day, so my photo's don't show the actual brightness of the colours.

The Stamp set and the Stencil I used on this project are.......
Life is Beautiful, and the stencil is Collision.

I used some lolly sticks as the base, and painted them with the Dyna paints, stamped the circle and lines stamp, then put the stencil over the top and added  some translucent paste. Meanwhile I stamped the awesome Hummingbird using Versamark onto some heat resistant acetate, and heat embossed using Black powder, fussy cut it, and added some Dyna paints onto the back of it, and attached it with 3D glue gel. I added a sentiment, and coloured some ribbon to hang it with.

Visible Image Stamps, Oxide Inks, Versafine Inks, Wow Embossing Powder & Stickles.

Hi there,

It's Fabulous Friday, the start of a Bank Holiday, and the weather forecast is good, so I hope you have something exciting planned.

Today I am sharing my first creation, made using an awesome new set of stamps, from 'Visible Image', I adore it.......
Check out the other awesome new stamp set plus all the yummy stencils too.

The new stamp set is called 'Into the Woods' and is available on re-order, with release date being 11th May, but I assure you, it will be worth the wait. I also used the inky script stamp, from 'Scripted Streets', which is in the background.

The background, was a piece of card that I had cleaned my brayer on, I'd been using some Oxide inks, it has some rather dark blue patches on, so I added white gesso, to tone it down a bit, and then some yellow and pink acrylic chalk paints with a palette knife.... perfect. I stamped the script, using Salty Ocean Oxide Ink, made a moon with some white gesso and a brush.

I stamped the rear row of trees, in a grey Versafine ink, stamped the next row in Purple Versafine, then used artistic licence for the hedge, with a couple of green inks, the main tree and the beautiful Owls I stamped and heat embossed with Black embossing powder. I then got my Stickles out, brown for the far trees, purple for the mid trees, and green and yellow for the hedge, I also added some god Stickles onto the wings of the Owls, I finished off with a stamped sentiment, onto a bit of white card, and coloured it to look like the background, and then using a white pigment pen, highlighted the tree.
