Visible Image Stamps, Decoart Acrylic paints and Wow Embossing Powders.

Hi there,
I have something a little different for you today, and look...... no pink, lol !!!!
This is a Birthday card I made, using some awesome Visible Image stamps, it was especially for the creator of the stamps Mark Alexander. I made it a bit grungy, but hopefully interesting too.

The stamps I used were......

I stamped the Watch using Versamark onto white card, heat embossed it with Bronze embossing powder, then stamped it again, but this time I heat embossed it with Black embossing powder, and put them aside, whilst I made the background.
Using turquoise and brown acrylic paint randomly, I brayered it onto a piece of white card, until it was covered, then dried it. I dusted it with an anti-static bag, then stamped the cogs using Versamark, around the three top edges and heat embossed with Bronze EP.
Using the group of numbers, and using Versamark, I heat embossed it with a combination of Bronze and some Turquoise glitter EP.
There is a big splatty silhouette stamp in the 'Somewhere in Time' set, which is extremely useful for showcasing an image,  which I stamped again using Versamark, then heat embossed with the turquoise glitter EP.

Right back to the watch, I cut out the bronze one, and adhered it on top of the embossed splat, I then fussy cut the black Watch into all the small components, I adhered these small bits in their designated places with 3D glue gel, I stamped and heat embossed the springs, with Black EP.
Lastly, onto some Turquoise card, I stamped and heat embossed the name, using the 'Alphabetical' set, and the Happy Birthday from the 'Words to Go' set, fussy cut them, and adhered those too.

Visible Image Stamps, Oxide Distress Inks, Wow Embossing Powders and Stickles.

Hi there,

It's Fabulous Friday, and time for me to share something I've created using some fantastic Visible Image Stamp sets.

On this card the Visible Iimage stamp sets I used were.....
Face It, the flower and the crackle are from Create It,
the words 'Creative People' are from Outside the Lines
and 'Sparkle' is from Smile, Sparkle & Shine,
and I also used the Face shape mask and Stencil, to contour the chin.

The background was a achieved by blending three colours of Oxide ink randomly,  and then spritzed with water.
On top of this I blended the same inks through a small dotty stencil, again randomly.

I then stamped the beautiful face, using Versamark, and heat embossed it using a Black Sparkle embossing powder, whitening the eyes with household bleach on a paintbrush. I stamped the crackle stamp with some pink Oxide ink, down one side of the face, then stamped again using blue Oxide ink, when dry, I added a touch of pink and blue Stickles, to give them sparkle.
The lips were coloured with pink Stickles, and the eye shadow is blue Stickles.
Using a palette knife, I spread some translucent stencil paste, through the dotty stencil, just in the neck area. I removed the stencil, and sprinkled glitter over the wet paste.

I stamped loads of flowers with Versamark, and heat embossed them, some with pink sparkle embossing powder, and some with blue sparkle embossing power, then fussy cut them all. I shaped them with my fingers, glued a gem in the middle of each, then added them around the face using 3D glue gel.
The words 'Creative People' was stamped with Versamark, onto pink card, and heat embossed with black sparkle EP, fussy cut, and positioned into the flowers with 3D glue. 'Sparkle' was stamped again using Versamark, and heat embossed with Pink Sparkle EP.

Visible Image Stamps, Brusho's and Wow Embossing Powder.

Hi there,

It's Fabulous Friday, and my day to share a little inspiration using some awesome Visible Image Stamps. On this card I only used one set, which is
 'Stay Wild'.

The background is Brusho's onto watercolour card,(I love the intense colour that Brusho's give you), when they were totally dry, I stamped the horse twice, using Versamark, heat embossed it with 3 glitter Embossing Powders, then sprinkled some White Frantage ( it's like a ultra thick EP, with glitter in it) onto the top, and heated it from beneath.

There are two sentiments in this set, and I chose 'Stay Wild' for this card. stamped with versamark, and heat embossed with Black EP.

This photo shows the sparkle of the EP's.

Visible Image Stamps, Oxide Distress Inks, Wow Embossing Powder & Stickles.

Hello,

It's Fabulous Friday, so it's 'Visible Image' day, hopefully a card to inspire you to have a go.

The stamps I've used on this card are......
Tomorrow doesn't Exist, and one of the stamps from De-Stressed.

The background was created with Oxide Distress Inks, and with the jumping girl, I used Versamark, and two kinds of Embossing powder, a sparkly red and a fluorescent pink, sprinkled on randomly, and heated. I also used red Stickles for that added sparkle, and a white pigment pen to make her pop. I stamped my sentiment onto white card, and heat embossed it with black powder, fussy cut the words, and added some pink ink around the edges.

Lavinia Stamps, Distress & Oxide Inks, Wow EP, Starlight paints & Stickles

Hi there,
It's the beginning of August, the year is going so quickly, and it's also the start of a new 'Lavinia Creative Challenge', on Facebook, so no blog needed at all. The theme for August is 'Blues and Orange hues', get making your entry, for a chance to win £40, to spend in the web-shop.

Here are my DT samples.......
and if you follow my work, you'll know that I'm a big fan of using very bright colours, so here we go....... hehehe !!!!

This first card uses some of my favourite Lavinia stamps, but then most of them are my favourites, lol......
and the sentiment is Fairy Dust is like Love.

The background is Distress inks on watercolour card, I stamped the trees, moon and sentiment with Oxide inks, and the Geese and Ducks were heat embossed. Using a ball tool, I created blossom on the trees, with Starlight paints and stickles.

This card started as an off-cut of watercolour card which I had coloured with Distress inks, it was so fab, that I didn't want to throw it away, and as it was orange, it made the the perfect background for my Radio active Squirrel, hahaha, well that's what Eileen Godwin called it.......

The stamps I used on this card were.......
Red SquirrelTree Half R2Miniature Flowers, a butterfly from....Butterflies, and the leaf is a very old set.
I stamped the Tree with Oxide ink, the flowers are Oxide ink and Stickles, and everything else is heat embossed. The Card blank, was stamped with Distress Ink.
You can find the whole range of Lavinia stamps HERE.

Thanks for dropping by, hugs Pauline xxxx
