Lavinia Stamps, Distress inks, Adirondack inks, Versafine inks, Archival inks and Kroma Crackle.

Hello my Crafty friends,

It's the 1st of December and the start of a brand new
Lavinia Stamps Challenge,
the theme for December is 'Anything Goes', so no excuses, get creating using your beautiful Lavinia stamps, you could win a whopping £40 to spend on Lavinia goodies.

I have made three projects for this theme to help inspire you.

My first is an 8"x 8" Christmas card, as you are all probably aware, I love making little pictures with my stamps, and Lavinia stamps work a treat used in this way, so I had fun creating this card.

The stamps I used for this card were....
Spring Trees, Fir Tree, Mistletoe, Creeping Vine, Holly, Have a Fairy Merry Christmas, Star Gazing, 3 Small Dancing Fairies, and Zen Houses.

I started by stamping the Zen Houses, and masking them, then coloured the background with Distress inks. I stamped everything else, using different coloured inks.
I coloured the houses with Promarkers, and using dries white cosmic Shimmer glue, I creted the snow, whilst it was still wet, I added glitter to it.

My second project is a 6"x 6" gelli plate print card. I spent some time talking to and watching the very talented designer of Lavinia Stamps, Tracey Dutton, at the NEC. She inspired me so much, that I got myself a selection of Adirondack and Versafine inks, dusted off my gelli plate and my brayer, and here is my first go......

I was so pleased that all Tracey's tips worked, lol !!!

The stamps I used are all from the fab Zen range....
Zen Rose, Zen Mini Stamps, Zen Leaf 2, and Zen Butterfly.

I finished off with loads of glitter !!!

My last project is an MDF Bauble, which I painted with white gesso, left it to dry then stamped Fairy Shops 1, Fairy Shops 2 and Tree Scene using Archival inks.

I coloured the shops with promarkers, then painted blue acrylic paint
underneath, when it was dry I added Kroma Crackle, and put it in the airing cupboard for 3 days, lol, yes it does take a while to dry !!!
It actually dries white, so I added a few swipes of gilding wax for that extra shine.

I added 'dries white' glue for snow, and touched up with stickles. I added ribbon to the top and finished off with a stamped shrink plastic sentiment.

All the stamps I have used on these projects can be found HERE.

Thank you so much for visiting, please leave me a comment, I love reading them.

See you soon, hugs Pauline xxxx
