Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks, Wow Embossing powders,

Hi my Crafty friends,

It's Friday, and my turn to showcase some of the
fabulous Visible Image stamp's that are available.

On this Christmas  5"x 8" card, the stamps I've used are,

The background was stamped first with the Gaudete stamp, using Distress ink, I then spritzed it with water, left it for a few seconds, blotted with kitchen roll then dried it with a heat tool.
I then stamped over it randomly with the Snowflakes using Versamark ink and white embossing powder, heated with my heat tool, and cooled.
Repeat the process, but this time use blue embossing powder. Gently ink over the background with Distress ink, leaving white patches.

The Vintage Santa was stamped using Versafine black ink, and coloured with Distress inks.
I cut him out using a spellbinders round die, added distress ink around the edges, used Cosmic Shimmer 'dries White' glue for the falling snow, and also to give definition to his beard, I then added a touch of stickles for that bit of sparkle. I finished off with some ribbon, and a snowflake stamped onto Shrink Plastic.

You still have time to enter the December Challenge 'Christmas', pop over to the blog and see the DT's inspiration, and enter HERE.

There is also a Visible Image Design Team call, for people who love Stamping and Colouring, check it out HERE.

Just in case I don't get to blog before the Festive Season, I'd like to thank you for all the interest and support you have shown me, over the last year.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas,

Big hugs, Pauline xxxxx

Visible Image Stamps, Tando chipboard Heart, Distress Inks, Wendy Vecchi Archival Inks

Hi there,

It's not long til Christmas, I hope you are all more or less ready, and have  time to relax. Me..... I think I shall be just about ready
 on Christmas Eve, lol !!!!!

Anyway it's Friday, and my turn to share a bit of craftiness that I have made using a new set of Visible Image Stamps.

The new set of stamps is Believe, I also used Grunge FlourishBronte BorderCrackled Background and Butterfly.

I used a Tando chipboard heart, painted it with 2 coats of gesso. I used the Grunge Flourish first in two places, stamped with Versamark and heat embossed using clear powder, then buffed over it with red Archival ink. Using the same red ink I stamped the Flourish again. Then randomly stamped with Crackled Background and Bronte Border around the edges, again using Archival inks, adding the Believe to the middle of the heart. The butterfly was stamped and embossed onto Vellum and attached with glue gel.

I added some gems and coloured string as a hanger.

My second project, is a tag, using the same stamps.....

I stamped with Flourish, Crackled and Bronte using distress inks, cut out a Spellbinders heart, lined it up on the tag, and marked where the Flourish stamps would be and stamped it, I also stamped the Believe, did the same with Follow your Dreams, and attached them using Glue Gel, I used a wire heart from my stash, and popped it down behind. I stamped and heat embossed 6 Butterfly's onto Vellum, and cut out the lower wings, and made them into flowers using glue gel. The finishing touch was a few blobs of Ranger white enamel accents.

I hope you've all entered the Visible Image December Challenge, 'Christmas', and if not, why not, lol, take a look at the DT inspiration HERE.

Visible Image are also looking for more stampers to join their existing Design Team, find out details HERE.

Thank you so much for visiting, I hope you will leave me a comment.

See you soon, Hugs Pauline xxxxx

Hi again friends, and New Followers,

It's fabulous Friday, and my turn to share one of my creations
using some of the fantastic

I chose one of my favorite sets to use, 'Free your Imagination'.

I started with the background, using the splats, flying birds and the raven, stamping each stamp in a different coloured distress ink, before they dried I spritzed with blue Perfect pearl spray, and again with the purple perfect pearl spray, and dried with my heat tool.

Next I stamped the feathers with veramark, and sprinkled, turquoise, green and purple embossing powders over them randomly and heat embossed, fussy cut them, then I gently added Blue, silver and gold coloured Treasure Gold gilding wax using my finger, and then polished them with a soft tissue.

Before I attached the feathers to the card, I stamped the sentiment also a splat, in black Archival, and heat embossed with clear powder, I added the feathers using glue gel.

Lavinia Stamps, Distress inks, Adirondack inks, Versafine inks, Archival inks and Kroma Crackle.

Hello my Crafty friends,

It's the 1st of December and the start of a brand new
Lavinia Stamps Challenge,
the theme for December is 'Anything Goes', so no excuses, get creating using your beautiful Lavinia stamps, you could win a whopping £40 to spend on Lavinia goodies.

I have made three projects for this theme to help inspire you.

My first is an 8"x 8" Christmas card, as you are all probably aware, I love making little pictures with my stamps, and Lavinia stamps work a treat used in this way, so I had fun creating this card.

The stamps I used for this card were....
Spring Trees, Fir Tree, Mistletoe, Creeping Vine, Holly, Have a Fairy Merry Christmas, Star Gazing, 3 Small Dancing Fairies, and Zen Houses.

I started by stamping the Zen Houses, and masking them, then coloured the background with Distress inks. I stamped everything else, using different coloured inks.
I coloured the houses with Promarkers, and using dries white cosmic Shimmer glue, I creted the snow, whilst it was still wet, I added glitter to it.

My second project is a 6"x 6" gelli plate print card. I spent some time talking to and watching the very talented designer of Lavinia Stamps, Tracey Dutton, at the NEC. She inspired me so much, that I got myself a selection of Adirondack and Versafine inks, dusted off my gelli plate and my brayer, and here is my first go......

I was so pleased that all Tracey's tips worked, lol !!!

The stamps I used are all from the fab Zen range....
Zen Rose, Zen Mini Stamps, Zen Leaf 2, and Zen Butterfly.

I finished off with loads of glitter !!!

My last project is an MDF Bauble, which I painted with white gesso, left it to dry then stamped Fairy Shops 1, Fairy Shops 2 and Tree Scene using Archival inks.

I coloured the shops with promarkers, then painted blue acrylic paint
underneath, when it was dry I added Kroma Crackle, and put it in the airing cupboard for 3 days, lol, yes it does take a while to dry !!!
It actually dries white, so I added a few swipes of gilding wax for that extra shine.

I added 'dries white' glue for snow, and touched up with stickles. I added ribbon to the top and finished off with a stamped shrink plastic sentiment.

All the stamps I have used on these projects can be found HERE.

Thank you so much for visiting, please leave me a comment, I love reading them.

See you soon, hugs Pauline xxxx

Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks, Wow embossing powders & Kroma Crackle.

Hi Crafters,

Wow, the 1st of December, Christmas is nearly upon us, and it is the start of a new 'Visible Image' Challenge, Decembers theme is 'Christmas', so no excuses people, get out your Visible Image Stamps and start creating, the prize this month is a wonderful whopping £30 worth of Visible Image stamps of your choice.

Now for my DT inspiration,

starting off with a piece of white card, I randomly stamped the snowflakes, using Versamark, and heat embossed with Clear powder,
then using Tumbled Glass Distress ink, lightly colour over the card and dry. I then repeated the stamping and embossing process, but used Broken China Distress ink over the top. The last layer was the same process, except I heat embossed using blue powder, I then went over the top with stickles.

I added some ribbon to the top of the card, stamped the sentiment in dark blue and heat embossed with clear powder, layered and attached to the card, added a bow, and a charm made with the snowflake stamp onto shrink plastic and glittered.

My second project is an MDF bauble. I painted both sides with blue acrylic paint, when it was dry I added Kroma Crackle, it's fantastic stuff, but it does take 3-4 days to dry, even in the airing cupboard, lol. While it was drying, I stamped the 'Enchanting Snowflakes' and 'Vintage Santa' onto acetate, using Archival ink, heat embossed them with clear powder, fussy cut them out, coloured the back of Santa with promarkers and gave them the stickles treatment.
When the crackle was dry, I rubbed some gilding wax's over the top, to give  a lovely sheen.

I attached the images using glue gel, snowflakes to one side and Santa to the other, I stamped 'Vintage Merry Christmas' onto shrink plastic twice, one for each side, and finished off with ribbon and charms to the top.

I hope these inspire you to make some Christmasy things.
