April 2013 Twinchie, with 'Designs by Ryn' stamps.




Hi friends,

This is my entry into 'Show us your Twinchies' Challenge 4 'Spring'.




I have used stamps from 'Designs by Ryn', 'African Daisy', and 'Three leaves set'. I stamped onto shrink plastic, and coloured them with Sakura glitter pens, then heated them to shrink, such fun, and just when you think they've gone all wrong, hey presto.......
The background is a bit of stripped cardboard, painted with gesso, then coloured with distress inks, and edged with some metallic wax, I added a bit of coloured string, and a butterfly to finish.

    Hey Pauline, I was wondering how the scale of both stamps was much smaller than I made them at. Shrink plastic is such a neat medium! Beautiful work! Thanks so much for sharing :) I re-posted your project to my Facebook page.
