Visible Image Stencils, Decoart Paints, Pentart Crackle Paste, Pentart Embossing Paste.

Hello my friends,

It's Fabulous Friday, and this week there has been spooky goings on in my craft room. As Halloween is looming, I've made a scary card using a couple of the awesome Visible Image Stencils, just to show that you can use a stencil for a foreground image.

The stencils I used for this card were......
Skull Shadow and Dark Hearts, and I used some of the words from You are not Alone stamp set.
I placed the Dark Hearts stencil, onto a piece of white card, and went through it with some black embossing paste using a palette knife, I removed the stencil, then added some sparkly black embossing powder to the wet paste, and heated it up using a heat tool, I added some colour to this, using a brush, and some Decoart liquid acrylics, making a watery wash, over the embossing. I then made drips of thick red paint, to look like blood, ohhhhh how gory !!!!

Taking the Skull Shadow stencil, and a piece of white card, I traced the main image, and fussy cut it. Using the Pentart Crackle, which is a two part crackle, I coated the skull with a thin layer of the primer, and dried with my heat tool, I then added a thick layer of the Crackle paste, and again dried it with my heat tool, the crackles are amazing.
I used more Decoart liquid acrylic paints, adding water for a light wash, and coloured thee skull, using red around the teeth. When it was dry, I shaped it, and added it to some black card with 3D glue Gel, then cut around the card, leaving a small border.

I heat embossed the sentiment onto black card, with red powder, but it didn't show up, dohhhhh, so I drew around the letters with a white pen (I don't like to waste anything, lol )

This last photo shows all the dimension, ohhhh and I found an eerie eye in my stash, and added it for a bit of drama !!!!!

Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Oxide Inks, Versafine Ink and Stickles

Gosh, another week has flown by, and again it's Fabulous Friday, so my day for sharing a card I've created, using another superb stamp set by 'Visible Image'.

This week I'm showcasing the very awesome 'One kind Word' stamp set,
I love it.

I created my background, using Mustard Seed and Ripe Persimmon Distress Ink,  squishing the inks onto my ink mat, spritzed with water, then dipped my card into it a couple of times, drying it between dips. Taking a piece of copy paper, I masked the top part of the card, and with Salty Ocean Distress ink, and a blending tool, lightly coloured the lower part of the card.

On the top of the card, I stamped one of the sentiments randomly, using Ripe Persimmon Oxide ink.

On a separate piece of card, I stamped the Typewriter using Black Versafine ink, masking off the top line of the stamp, so I could make the area for words longer, I also stamped some hearts, and a sentiment, again in black ink and fussy cut them all, I curled the typewriter card at the top, around a paintbrush.

Before placing my cut typewriter onto the background, I stamped  the random letters stamp, onto the background using Salty Ocean. I then glued everything down with 3D glue gel, and added some stickles onto the hearts.

Visible Image Stamps & Stencils, Distress Inks, Wow Embossing Powder & Versafine Ink.

Hi there,

It's Fabulous Friday, and I'm here again,
to share some Visible Image love, and as the Visible Image challenge this month is 'Colours of Autumn', I chose to use these orangy colours.

The stamp sets I've used in this card are......
The gorgeous Daydreamer, along with part of the awesome You are not alone.
I thought they would go together rather well, and send out a powerful message from the heart, that no one is alone........
I also used the dotty part of the Two Tone stencil.

My background was created using some Distress Inks, Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon, and Spiced Marmalade. I put them onto my craft mat, one by one, lightest to darkest, spritzed some water on them and pulled my card through, and dry. If there are any white spaces left, add some extra colour with a blending tool. To this background, I added the Stencil, and blended through with Picked Raspberry, then I added the circles (that are in the 'You are not alone' set), using black ink.
On a piece of black card, I stamped the sentiments with Versamark, and heat embossed them with White powder, and fussy cut. Onto white card I stamped the girl using Red ink, and the arm using Black ink, and fussy cut them too. With a black pen, I low-lighted some of the details on the girl, to give her some definition.
After putting the card together, and adding all the components, using a white pen, I highlighted all the circles, and added a star of light between the girl and the hand.

Visible Image Stamps & Stencils, Distress Inks, Versafine Grey & Black Ink pads, Gold & White Pens & Glitter.

Hi There,

It's Fabulous Friday, so my day for sharing a project I've made using some awesome 'Visible Image' products.

On this card I've used one of the fantastic brand new Stamp sets, along with a couple of superb stencils.

The background is achieved by blending Distress Inks, Mustard Seed and Salty Ocean. On the top part I placed the 'Collision Stencil', and blended through with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink, and on the bottom part, I used the 'Distorted Chess' stencil, and blended through with Blueprint Sketch Distress ink.
I stamped 2 of the three dancers in the 'Hip Hop Girls' stamp set, using Versafine Smokey Grey ink, and the third dancer I stamped using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I made some shadows using the Blueprint Sketch ink, to ground the girls, then with a gold pen I added some details to the girls, and highlighted around them with a white pen. Using a quickie glue pen, I highlighted the top stencil lines, and added glitter to it. To finish off, I added Black glitter to the front dancer, and stamped and fussy cut the sentiments.
