Leibster Award

What a fantastic surprise I had last night,
I have been lucky enough to be chosen to receive a Liebster award,
by the lovely Sylv, please check out her fabulous blog at

The Leibster award is given to 5 blogs that you visit regularly, that inspire you, but they must have less than 200 followers. It is designed to get people to visit, comment and hopefully follow new blogs that they probably wouldn't know about normally. So here are 5 blogs I visit regularly, thank you ladies for the fun and the inspiration you give me. Please snag your badge and display it proudly on your blogs.

My choice of 5 is....

It has been very hard to for me choose only 5 inspirational blogs, as there are so many talented people. Please give these blogs a visit, comment and follow if you can, as I know it will mean a lot to them.

Thank you for taking the time to pop by,
See you next time

Hugs

Hello crafting friends,

You may have seen my exciting news, and I am very proud and honoured to be able to tell you, that I have been chosen, to be a member of the Lavinia Stamps Design Team.

There is a fantastic challenge starting on Friday March 1st 2013, with a very nice prize, check it out at Lavinia Challenge Blog
so get your Lavinia stamps out and give it a go.

Anyway, I thought I'd share a Christmas card, made with Lavinia stamps of course, lol!!!

This is a 6"x 6" card, I masked a boarder around the edge before did anything, then added a moon mask. On my SplodgeAway mat, using distress inks, I coloured the background, masking the hills and foreground as I coloured. I then added the black images, stamped using Memento Tuxedo black. The snow was made with white PVA glue and sprinkled with glitter whilst it was wet. The baubles on the tree are dots of coloured glitter glue.

Thank you for looking
and I hope you like my card,
please leave me a comment, I love reading them,

Viva Las Vegastamps, Distress inks, Imagination Crafts, Bee Crafty, Promarkers.

Hello Blogging friends,

I have had three days crafting this week, lucky me, but I can't tell you what I've been busy making, because it's a secret..........
I will reveal more later, lol.

Anyway, if you've been reading my post's, you'll remember me telling you about being asked to guest spot for Viva Las Vegastamps if you click on the link it will take you to a 'stamp wonderland'.

I can now share the last two of the four projects I made for the lovely Dee Dee, as she has now put them on her blog Viva Las Vegastamps Blog, click here if you'd like to take a look.

'Unicorn'.

He is so majestic, but he still needed to be magical, so I mainly used Distress inks and glitter, and popped the sentiment on the bottom

'Super boy' Tag.
I love this image, he is so much fun. I used Dylusion spray inks, Imagination Crafts Sparkle medium through a Bee Crafty mask. The main image was coloured with Promarkers, and glossy accents were added to his boots. The sentiment was stamped onto a small tag, and embossed.
I hope you like them and thank you again for taking the time to pop by and any comments would be lovely.
Take care, see you again soon,
Hugs

Lavinia stamps, Distress inks, and SplodgeAway mat.

Hello again lovely crafty bloggers,
Thanks for popping by and I hope you all had a fab Saturday.
We had beautiful sunny weather in Warwick today, although I was stuck in a Cafe kitchen, so could only see it from the doorway, lol, and people were telling me how warm it was too. I'm hoping that it's the same tomorrow, and I shall get to sample it for myself.

My share for today, is a card I made a couple of weeks ago, using some of the fabulous 'Lavinia Stamps', they are a joy to work with, and I love the Unicorn stamp, it's sort of magical.

It' a 6"x 8" card, the background was made using Distress inks on a SplodgeAway mat, and stamped using 'Momento, Tuxedo Black', the boarder was made using a 'Tonic punch with some pink Bazzil, some american seam binding and gems to finish off.

I hope you like it, if you'd card to leave me a comment, I love reading them.

See you next time,
Hugs,
Pauline

Anna Griffin Stamp, Heidi Swapp, Distress ink Valentine card

Hi again,

What a difference the weather makes, it was so sunny here yesterday, Spring is definitely just around the corner and my crafty haven, is filled with sunshine  today, so I'm going to spend most of my day in there......... creating.

As it was Valentines Day yesterday, I though I would share the card I made for my lovely man, it was inspired by a card I saw that was made by Zoe Russell.

I used the fab lip stamp by Anna Griffin and added glossy accents to make it pop, and some Heidi Swapp papers, that I coloured to match, a little bit of fun !!!

I also sent a card for a friend this week, it was made to cheer her up and brighten her day.....

The jar stamp is from 'Little Musings', and again I used glossy accents to make the front jar pop, after quite a bit of masking and shading to give dimension.

I hope you like my offerings for today, lol, and thank you again for taking the trouble to look, comment and hopefully enjoy my creations.

See you soon,
hugs,

Graphic 45 'A Ladies Diary' papers, 2 Birthday cards

Hi again,
Another snowy, wet, cold day in this area, I go to my Mum's every Wednesday, to clean for her, take her shopping, and make sure she is happy and well, and of course to give her loads of hugs and kisses.

Tonight, I have just been making pancakes, as I was too engrossed in my crafty haven last night, and forgot........ my son was not a happy bunny, lol !!!

Before I go and play with my stamps and inks, I thought I'd share a couple of cards, that I made early this year, with the beautiful papers from 'Graphic 45, A Ladies Diary'.

Hope you like them....

Please bear with me if I don't reply to all your comments individually, I'm still trying to figure how to work this Blog, lol.

Thank you all for looking,

Hugs,

I hope the weather hasn't stopped you doing the things you wanted to do today,
me.... I spent the day crafting, of course, lol.

Thought I'd share a couple of men's cards with you, I made them recently. Sometimes it can be hard to figure out what to make for a man,
but on this occasion I just used my inks, stamps and played !!!

This one I made for my partner, we've been together for 12 years, so I thought I'd mark the occasion.

And this one was for my eldest's son's birthday.

Please excuse the photography, not the best I know, maybe I should practice more often, lol !!

I hope you like them, and thanks for looking,

Distress Inks, SplodgeAway mat, Lavinia stamps, Chocolate Baroque stamp, Birthday cards

Hi there,
my name is Pauline, and I am a craft-a-holic !!

It has taken me a while to get around to making this blog, and I am very new to it, so please bear with me.
I have been crafting most of my life, in one way or another, dress-making, sewing, embroidery, sugar-craft, but discovered my passion for card-making about 10 years ago. I  slowly got a taste for stamping about 3 years ago, and my vast collection of stamps is growing by the day !!
I have my own crafty space in our house, since 2 of my 3 sons moved out, and found their own homes. My partner Robin and I transformed the smallest bedroom into my haven, where I spend most of my 'free' time, playing, with my huge stash.

I will periodically pop a piccy of my creations on this blog, for you to see, and hopefully enjoy,  any comments you may wish to leave me, will be gratefully received.

This is a very simple, but effective card, using a Chocolate Baroque stamp.
The card was coloured with Distress inks and stamped, the birds were stamped again, cut out and raised, to give depth.

The next card was made using fabulous 'Lavinia' stamps, (my current favorites),
I love the images, and the fairy-tale feel they give.

Again using Distress inks, and lots of glitter.

Well I'm off up to my Crafty haven, to get a bit inky.
I'll pop some more piccy's on tomorrow, see you then,
hugs  //(*_*)\\ xxx
