Bee Crafty, 'Wizard of Oz' stamps, Dylusion ink sprays & Spellbinder die's.

Hi all my friends in blog-land,

As I'm getting ready for my holibobs, only 2 sleeps left,
I am sharing a project, that evolved one rainy day, using stamps from a lovely shop 'Bee Crafty', who design, make and sell their own polymer stamps.
Please visit the online shop, their stamps are great,
 click 'HERE' to view.

I chose to use stamps from the 'Wizard of Oz' range.

The concept evolved into a mini concertina book, which has a front fastening of plaited string and velcro.

All the backgrounds were made using Dylusion Ink Sprays, and masks from the 'Bee Crafty' Inkables range, again designed by themselves.

I made the fence from some craft card, and used a 'Bee crafty'stamp to make it look like wood, and distressed it, I also used a spellbinders De-lites die to make the cornfield, the ground was a bee crafty stamp too.

Thank you again for visiting, thank you too to my new followers, please leave me a comment so I know you've popped by.
See you all next week from Sunny Swanage in Dorset, I can't wait.

Hugs
Pauline

My entry for 'Show us your Twinchies' June Challenge 'Summer at the seaside'.

Hi again friends and fellow bloggers, and a very warm welcome to my New followers.

This is my entry to the 'Show us your Twinchies' June Challenge
entitled 'Summer at the Seaside'

For people who may not know, a Twinchie is a 2"x 2" piece of art work.

I couldn't find any stamps smaller enough in my stash, that would fit the brief, so out came one of my favourite things to play with, the good old shrink plastic.

I stamped, coloured, cut out, used my heat gun and watched as the magic happened, it never ceases to amaze me, lol. When it had cooled down, I attached it onto the stamped background, and covered all the plastic with glossy accents.

It was a very quick creation, as I'm getting ready to go to the seaside myself on Saturday (yipeee) but it was great fun to make !!!!!

Thank you so much for all the fab comments you leave me, and also for taking the time to pop by.

See you again soon,
hugs,
Pauline

Visible Image June Challenge, 'Visible Image has Character', my last entry.

Hi again friends,

This is my last entry into the 'Visible Image has Character' challenge.

As I made Edward into a 'Rock God' on my last tag, poor beautiful Isabella felt totally left out, so I have made her smile, with a tweak to her mouth,

I've also given her a bunch of flowers, which are actually from Edward, as he made some money doing his first gig !!!!!

I hope you like what I have done with Isabella,
Thank you for popping by again, and the comments you are leaving me are fantastic, and so inspiring, thank you so much.

Hugs,
Pauline

Visible Image June Challenge 'Visible Image has Character', my entry no. 2.

Hello friends,
this is my second entry into the

I have made a tag (what again you ask), lol, they are very addictive.
I have used the rather handsome 'Edward', from Visible Image of course.
I decided he needed to be in a Rock band, so I gave him a flying 'V' guitar, a bit of stubble and a drum kit, I think it suits him.....

I hope you like him,
Thanks for taking the time to visit and thank you also for your fab comments,

Be back again soon,
Hugs,
Pauline

Visible Image June Challenge 'Visible Image has Character', my entry.

Hello again friends and fellow bloggers, and a warm Welcome to my New Followers.

hopefully, if I find time, I'll do another couple before I go away on my holibobs, yippee  I can't wait !!!!

I decided to do something a little different for this project, and as I had some cardboard hanging around, I thought I'd recycle !!!

Of course I've used loads of my fabulous Visible Image stamps, you can see their full range HERE,
I don't use Character stamps very often, but I did rather fall in love with these two.

I coloured them using Distress inks.

And I just love the sentiment... which is stamped onto parchment, distressed and the ends rolled. I made the button in my Melt pot...

The dimensions of the cardboard are, 10" (250 cm) wide and 7 1/2" (190 cm ) high, it was given a thick coating of Gesso, and distressed using some Treasure Gold wax. the blue and pink background swirls were achieved by stamping onto a single layer of a tissue, and then glued to the plaque.
You will also notice, that I used the free 'Visible Image' stamp which is being given away with the July issue of The Craft Stamper magazine.

Sorry about the photo's, I should have used a darker background, but I hope you get an idea of what it looks like, lol !!!!

Thank you again for dropping by, see you next time

Hugs,
Pauline

Hi fellow Bloggers, friends and followers,

Just a quick card to share with you, made with some fab Visible Image stamps.

I made the background using Distress Inks, topped with 2 stamps from the Visible image 'Time' range,
the pocket watch was stamped, heat embossed and cut out, as were the wings, the sentiment was also from the same set.

I am glad to say that I'm on the mend, and back in the craft room, yipeeee.

Thanks again for your fab comments, and for visiting,

SplogeAway mask, Dylusion inks, Distress Stains, Imagination Crafts Sparkle medium, Martha Stewart paper clay, on a tag.

Hi there friends,
My apologies for not posting for a while, but I've had a nasty bug, which knocked me for six for a week, I couldn't even craft. But I am back to normal again now, and I need to catch up with everyone else's blog, so I'll be popping by soon.

My share for today, is a tag I made last week, which sort of evolved, lol.

I started with a black tag, cut using my Tim Holtz tag die, sprayed it with Dylusions, and stamped, using a new Bee Crafty XL 'Fingerprint' Backdrop stamp, with Distress metallic stains. I then used the fab new, 'Masks of many Faces' by SpodgeAway, the smaller face was achieved using Imagination Crafts, black sparkle medium, and the silhouette face was coloured with 'Black Soot' Distress ink. I added a butterfly, and some flowers and leaves I made with the Martha Stewart paper clay kit, (so much fun) and coloured with gilding wax. I also used some Words by Andy Skinner, a white Posca pen, and some ribbon.

I hope you find your visit enjoyable, please leave me a comment, I love reading them.

Until next time,
Hugs

Dylusion ink Spays, Distress stains, Tim Holtz stamps and gilding wax on Men's cards.

Hi friends,
what wonderful weather we are having at present, makes me think that maybe this IS our summer, lol.

Today, I'm sharing a couple of Men's cards.
I love using the 'splodge' effect, it is so easy to do, and makes quite an impression.

Distress stains were splodged onto white card,

Dylusions were sprayed onto pieces of card and die cut using a Spellbinders set.

The gears were swiped with wax and layered onto the design and sentiment added.

The second card is similar, but smaller......

Base card splodged with Distress stains, Dylusions sprayed onto separate card, then stamped before die cutting.

again swiped with wax around the edges of the die cuts, and layered.

I hope you like these slightly different men's cards,

Thank you so much for popping by, and leaving such lovely comments,
 I love reading them.

See you again soon,
hugs,
Pauline

Twinchies DT samples

Hello there friends,
and a warm welcome to my new followers.

I was asked recently, by the lovely Beverley Tonks, to be a Design Team member for her new 'Twinchie Challenge Group'.

The Challenge for this month is 'Bee's and Butterflies', and me, well meaning me, forgot, tut tut. So after a message from Bev, I dashed up to my Crafty Haven, and got to work pretty damn quick. So, my samples are not as nice as I would have liked them to be, and I forgot the 'Bee' bit too, but...... I managed to throw 5 Butterfly ones together !!!! What am I like.........no don't answer that, lol !!!! (Sorry Bev, I luff you....... !!!)

By the way a Twinchie, is a 2"x 2" piece of card, or board, which has been decorated, and it can beome very addictive.

Do have a go, it's great fun......

Thanks again for visiting,

Hugs,
Pauline,
