Distress inks, Tim Holtz Stamps & Embossing folder, Wow embossing powder & Treasure Gold on a 40th Birthday Card.

Hi there fellow bloggers, friends and welcome to my new followers,

Today's share is a man's 40th Birthday card.

I coloured some white card with distress inks, put it in a Tim Holtz embossing folder through my Big Shot, then swiped it with Treasure Gold wax.
I decided that the background was too nice to cover with images, so I stamped onto Acetate, and floated it over the background.
I made ribbons out of pieces of card sprayed with Dylusion inks, and stamped and heat embossed the tickets.
The name and age were from a Tim Holtz Die. Everything was put together on an 8"x 8" Kraft card.

Thank you for taking the time to visit, a comment would be fab,

Till next time,
Hugs,

  6. The effect you've achieved for the background is fab. It's a great idea to put the silhouette on acetate above the background. Great card.
