Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Versamark Pad, Wow Black Embossing powder and Stickles.

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are feeling crafty and well.
Today I'd like to share a couple of cards that I made recently, using some unique Visible Image Stamps.
I created these cards for 2 workshops I was luckily enough to conduct, on behalf of Visible Image, at a fabulous shop in Studley, Pink Tulip Creations Ltd.
I had a fantastic day, showing a group of lovely Ladies, the quality of the Visible Image Stamps, along with a few techniques using Distress Inks and heat embossing.
Thank you to Sheila, (the owner of Pink Tulip), and her two right hand women Tracey and Angela, for organising such a great day and looking after me too.

 Here are my samples.

The stamps used on this card are the Colours of the Wind set.

And on this card I used Feel the BeatSoul Music and Plasma.

The workshop Ladies made such fabulous cards, they are a very talented group, thank you for putting up with me, and my warped sense of humour lol,  I hope you all had as much fun as I did.

Do pop over to the Visible Image 'Show and Tell', take a look at the wonderful works of art that people have made with the awesome stamps, it's not too late to enter your creation, for a chance of winning a new stamp.

Check out the Visible Image Face book Group, if you haven't already, there's a friendly buzz going on there, with loads of inspiration along with some spot competitions.

Many thanks for visiting,

Hugs, Pauline xxxxx

Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Wow Black Embossing Powder, and Black Stickles.

Hi there,

I'm doing my Visible Image Stamps blog early this week,
as I have swapped with my teamie Sue.

This is a card I created at the beginning of the month, using some fantastic Visible Image Stamps, for my Wonderful partner Rob's Birthday, he is a drummer, so these new music themed stamps are genius for him.

The Visible Image stamps I used were.......

I started off with a 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" piece of Centura Pearl card, (I always use the mat side of the card for blending Distress Inks, it's nice and smooth).
I blended Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers onto it, making sure that there was Mustard Seed in the middle. I then used the star stamp from the Universal set and stamped 4 stars using the same colours tone on tone. I Stamped the drummer and the sentiment using Versamark, and heat embossed with black powder. Using the feather stamp from 'Angels are near', I stamped just the inky tip around the edges using the same colours, tone on tone again, and then another layer at the edge using Chipped Sapphire.

This would have made a great 6"x 6" card, but I decided to go bigger, lol.
So, on the mat side of a piece of Centura Pearl 7 1/4" x 7 1/4", and using the music stamp, I stamped from the middle out all the way around the card, again using the same 3 colours to co-ordinate with the topper. I then stamped the tip of the feather, again using Chipped Sapphire, around the edges. To finish off, I added Black Stickles to the sentiment, parts of the Drummer, and the edges of the larger background, I  then mat and layered onto an 8" x 8" card blank.

Don't forget to enter the Visible Image 'Show and Tell' competition, for a chance to win some fantastic stamps, details HERE.
Also visit the Visible Image Facebook Group HERE, there's always lots going on, and plenty of inspiration too.

There is a Visible Image Workshop day, in Bristol, on Sunday 17th May,

I shall be conducting 2 workshops, using some very unique Visible Image stamps, at the Compass Inn, Tormarton, included in the day is a yummy Roast Dinner, for more details or to book phone 01454 312355.

Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Brusho's Wow Embossing Powder, Viva Perlen Pen, Stickles.

Hi again,

I'm back today to share a couple of 6" x 6" cards I've made using some fantastic Visible Image stamps.

My first card uses.....

I created the background using Distress Inks in 3 colours, and then used a stencil over the top and spritzed with water, to give the sun ray effect. I stamped the butterfly and sentiment with versamark and heat embossed with black powder. I then added 3 colours of Stickles to the butterfly to give the sparkle.

The stamps used on the second card are.....
Woman InkognitoRipped Fishnet and 'Love Yourself' from the No Regrets Set.

The background for this card was created with Brusho's and water, left to dry, then stamped the Woman in Versamark and heat embossed using Black Embossing powder, I masked her off and stamped the Fishnet with Versamark, and heat embossed that using Pink Embossing powder. I then went over the Woman with a Black Viva Perlen Pen, to make it very dimensional, I also added some Stardust Stickles, and some Pink Stickles for sparkle of course. I coloured a small piece of card with Distress inks, spritzed with water, then stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed with Black embossing powder.

I am now going to spread a little 'Visible Image' love,
I never tire of using these fabulous stamps, apart from the superb quality,
these thick polymer stamps are made in house, hand poured and hand cut by Mark, the designer himself, so they are very very unique in every way. Helen does all the packaging, administration, and networking, together they make an Awesome Team.
So if you've not tried the stamps yet, have a go and see what you think.

A new Visible Image 'Show and Tell' has started, so get stamping, and produce some work to enter it, details HERE.

Check out the Visible Image Facebook group too for news of goings on, HERE.

Big hugs, Pauline xxxxx

Lavinia Stamps, Distress Inks, Stickles, Liquid Pearls,, Gesso, Luminarte Silks, Treasure Gold gilding wax & Versafine Ink.

Hi there,

It's the start of yet another Month, April is good, it has my Birthday in it, lol, more crafty stash for me !!!!!
It's also see the start of another Lavinia Stamps Challenge, the theme for April is 'Lemon and Lime', this was quite a challenge for me too, you know how I  like to use loads of colour in my work, lol, so I really enjoyed making these 2 samples.

 6" x 6" card, stamps used are........
Field GrassVine, and one of the brand new Hare stamps, which will be on the website soon, or you can buy them at Alexander Palace on the 11th & 12th April.

I used Distress inks for the background, also for the vine and the grass. I stamped the Hare using  Black Versafine ink, and then used yellow, green and stardust Stickles to give it some dimension and sparkle.

My 2nd project is a 5" x 5" frame with a small canvas in the middle,
Stamps used were.......

I used white Gesso to prime both the frame and the canvas, once it was dry using Luminarte Silks in Lime and Lemon, with a paint brush I painted a cross hatch design onto the canvas, layering it up in places to give a deeper colour. I them stamped all the Dandelions and the bee in Black Versafine ink, using stickles and Liquid pearls to paint them with.
I stamped the sentiments onto the frame in Black Versafine ink too, and the stars in yellow Versafine ink, and of course some stickles, a gold pen and some Treasure Gold gilding wax.

Why don't you create something, using lavinia Stamps and enter the Challenge for  chance to wing a whopping £40 to spend in the Lavinia Shop, we also accept Email entries too, all details HERE.
