Visible Image Stamps, Demo cards from the C&C TV Show 12.12.15

Hi there my lovely friends,

As you probably know, Visible Image Stamps had a show on Create & Craft TV last Saturday, between the Awesome Mr Mark Alexander and myself, we managed to demo five cards, mine were very quick, so I thought I'd run through them again in a bit more detail........

Card One.....

The first demo was using the stamp set..... Angels are Near.

For the background, I took a piece of white Centura Pearl card, and using 3 Distress ink colours, I blended them, spritzed it with water, and blotted with kitchen towel.
Using the feather stamp covered in Versamark, I stamped in the middle, then heat embossed using white detail powder. Using the feather again, but only the splatty end of it, and a gold ink pad, I stamped around the edges of the inked background, I then applied gold gilding wax with my finger around the four edges. mat andd layered it onto a card blank.
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment using a gold sparkle EP, onto a small piece of card, added gilding wax to the edges, and mat and layered it onto the card

The feather was stamped again onto a piece of heat proof acetate, with versamark, heat embossed using the gold sparkle EP again, and fussy cut, this was applied to the card using 3D glue.

Card Two....

The stamp set was.....Butterfly Inkognito Set.

I stamped both the butterfly and the sentiment on a white piece of card, using a Versamark pad, and heat embossed with Clear powder, when it had cooled, I blended over the stamping, using 3 colours of Distress ink, and like magic the image and sentiment appear, I then spritzed with water and dried.
Using a tacky glue on my index finger I went around the edges of the card, then sprinkled glitter on it to give a sparkly edge.

I stamped the butterfly using versamark, onto heat proof acetate, and heat embossed using a white detail powder, I folded the acetate so's that the butterfly's wings were together, and cut some rounded wings, taking off all the ink splats, this was attached to the card leaving the wings free to flutter, I added glitter glue for that extra sparkle.

Card three.......

The stamp set used was.......Behind every Mask.

Taking 2 similar colours of Distress ink, I used Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar, I put the ink straight from the pads onto my glass mat, sprayed water onto it so it was nice and wet, and 'smooched' (my term, lol) my card into the mixture to cover the card with a coloured wash, I dried it straight away using my heat gun. Using Picked Raspberry, I edged the cars with my blending tool.

Now to the bit that I did'nt show on TV, because of time....... I mixed a small bit of gold mica powder with Picked Raspberry and water, and using a paint brush, I went around the edges of the background, I also did the same to a small piece of card fro the sentiment. I added a touch more water to the mixture that was left, loaded up my paint brush with it and flicked it over the coloured background.
Taking the image and the sentiment, I stamped them both using Picked Raspberry, I also coloured in the iris's of the eyes with a blue pen, and added a dot of gold mice & water to the middle of the eye.

I  stamped the mask image with Versamark onto heat proof acetate, then used some yummy Pink/Gold sparkle EP  and heat sealed it, I fussy cut it, also cutting out the eyes too, and attached it to the card with 3D glue.

Thank you for watching the show, and also if you emailed in thank you too.

Check out the Visible Image Face Book Group, lots of daily inspiration, news and general chat, with lovely people who are fans of the awesome stamps.

I wish you and your families a very very Merry Christmas,

Visible Image Stamps, Brusho Crystal Paints, Distress Inks, Wow Embossing Powder and Stickles.

Hi there Crafty Friends,

It's Fabulous Friday and time for me to share a creation I've made,
using some fantastic Visible Image Stamps.

The stamps I've used on this card are.......

I started off by sprinkling some Brusho's on a piece of card, spritzing with water, then layering up more Brusho's and water for a nice intense look, then dried it totally.
I stamped the sentiment using Versamark onto this piece of card, then heat embossed it using white powder, and cut the card to the size I wanted. I decided at this stage that I wanted it to be very glossy, so using the Versamark pad I completely covered the card, and heat embossed using clear powder, and did this twice more.
On a small piece of card, I stamped the butterfly using black ink, coloured it using a paintbrush and Brusho's, then added Stickles on top for the bling factor.

Finally for the background, I stamped the tree's using Distress inks, then added some more Stickles as blossom.

Do get your Visible Image creations into the November Show & Tell, there's a chance for you to win some stamps of your choice from the website, so it's well worth a go, and you will inspire others to join in too.

Keep your eyes open in the Visible Image Facebook Group, for daily inspiration, we have a 'Design Team shout' out at the moment too, and there will also be some very exciting news released very soon.

Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, & Wow Embossing Powders.

Hello,

I had a fabulous time at the NEC on the Visible Image Stand, thank you to those who came and got inky with me, I met so many lovely Crafters.

Today I'd like to share with you, another Christmas card, created using some gorgeously unique Visible Image Stamps.

The stamps used are........

I stamped the sentiment in different coloured Distress inks, to form the background, going over some of it with a quickie glue pen and glitter, which unfortunately doesn't show on my photo.
I stamped the Poinsettia with Versamark, onto vellum, and heat embossed with a Red sparkle EP, and fussy cut, the leaves were done in the same way, but using Green sparkle EP. The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed onto white card, again using the red sparkle EP.

I cut a length of acetate, and made a band around the card topper, a little longer than the topper, so's that it arched off the card, onto which I attached the finished flower and the sentiment, with 3D glue gel, to give dimension.

I hope you've popped a card into the Show & Tell, just make sure you only use Visible Image Stamps, for a chance to win some new ones of your choice.

Take a look in the Visible Image Facebook group, for daily inspiration, and good banter.....HERE.

Thank you for dropping in,

Visible Image Stamps, Brusho's, Wow Embossing Powder and Angelina Fibres.

Helloooo,

I hope you are all well,
just a quickie today, a card I made for one of my recent workshops, I do love passing on techniques.
The unique stamps I've used, are designed and made by hand,
by Mark and Helen at Visible Image,
they both work very hard, and are very passionate about their Company and their fabulous stamps.

I used Brusho's for the background, along with spray starch and cling film, such a cool vibrant outcome, I stamped the sentiment with Versamark, mixing 2 colours of sparkle Embossing powder, before heating to set. The Image is made using Angelina Fibres, placed ontop of the stamp which has Versamark on, then ironed, such a fab technique, and finally fussy cut.

If you are going to the NEC next week, do pop along to the Visible Image Stand, B09 where you meet Helen and Mark, see some of the stunning stamps available, also see loads of inspirational DT work, and you will also see me, I am doing 'Make & Takes', but get in early to book your place as they are limited.

Visible Image Stamps, Alcohol Inks, Prima Mica Flakes, Stazon ink, & Wow Embossing Powder.

Hello,
Gosh where has this week flown to, I think my craft room eats time, lol !!!!
Talking about Time, my creation for today, is a fab set of stamps from

I am still feeling the vibe from the Visible Image Blog Hop last Friday, it was in aid of Breast Cancer Care, so I am carry on the theme, and using a bit of pink !

My background is a piece of glossy card, with the Shaving foam and Alcohol Inks technique, then added some texture using wax, and Mica flakes.
I stamped the pocket watch with Stazon, onto Acetate, and then stamped again  (2nd generation), so it was very faint, then fussy cut both, I then used a gold Sharpie pen on the wrong side of the acetate.
I stamped the clock again, onto white card, and heat embossed using a Gold Sparkle powder, fussy cut, also cutting out the face of the clock. I stamped the clock one last time, using Stazon, onto white card, cut the face out and attached it to the gold clock, then added Glossy Accents for the glass.
To finish, I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed.

Don't forget the Visible Image 'Show and Tell', your chance to win some fabulous stamps, check it out HERE ( No blog needed).

Visible Image Stamps, Brusho's, Spectrum Noir Aqua Tints, Distress Inks, Wow Embossing Powder & Stickles.

Helloooooooo,

It's Fabulous Friday, and I'm back with a little bit of inspiration for you, a card using some of those fantastic Visible Image Stamps that I love using so much.

On this card, the stamps I used are........
Winter Tree and the sentiment is Me Time.

A very simple card to make, I used some Brusho paints on the background, mixing them with water and just washing them over the card. I then used some Spectrum Noir Aqua Tint inks, and using the dropper provided in the kit, just dripped them down the card. This gives the impression of trees, so I stamped Winter Tree with Distress Inks onto the inky background. I finished off with the sentiment stamped in Versamark, and heat embossed with Black powder, I filled in the letters with some Stickles for that little bit of sparkle.

The October Visible Image 'Show and Tell' is going well, it has a Pink Theme to it this month, in aid of Breast Cancer Care, why don't you enter, for a chance to win a voucher for some yummy stamps, details HERE.

Please check out the Visible Image BIG PINK EVENT, in aid of Breast Cancer Care, a very worthy cause.

Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Wow Embossing Powder, and Versamark.

Hi there Crafty Friends,

No your eyes are not out of focus, lol, I wanted to try something a little different with this card, and I used a couple of super duper Visible Image Stamps.
My inspiration came from a retro 3D poster I saw recently, although I haven't tried to view it through a pair of 3D glasses, lol, but you get the idea !!!!

The Visible Image stamps I've used are.......

I stamped the background with the Grunge Polka Dots , 4 times, using 4 different Distress ink colours, I also did the same on another piece of card and stamped the sentiment in Versamark, heat embossed it using clear embossing powder, fussy cut it, mounted it onto black card and fussy cut it again, to give a thin black outline.
And hey look, no bling or glitter used, that was incredibly hard, lol !!!!

A new months 'Show and Tell' has been opened, your chance to win some awesome new Visible Image Stamps to add to your collection, just create something, using your Visible Image Stamps, and pop it in the album HERE.
