Visible Image Stamps, Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Ranger Liquid Pearls, Ranger Stickles, Black Versafine Ink, Ranger Enamel Accents, and a white Pen

Hi there fellow Crafters,

Today's share is two cards, one sad and one happy. I thought I'd show you how you can use the same stamp to make a happy card, but also toned down, for a Sympathy card.

I have of course used the fantastic new
Visible ImageFlower INKognito Stamp, I love it, plus Live Life Now and the 'More than Words' Sympathy Set.

The Happy card background is made using 4 colours of Distress ink, one in each corner and blended into each other, I kept adding more and more ink to get nice and vibrant colours.
I splashed the card using water on my fingers, stamped the flower and sentiment using Black Versafine and when it was dry, I painted the flower using a paint bruch, a little water and some Pink Liquid Pearls, spodging some of it to one side, along with Shabby White Frantage powder. I added green Stickles to the stem, and highlighted the sentiment.

The Sympathy card is basically done in the same way,  but using less ink on the background, making it lighter in tone, adding a little Stickles to the flower, and using Shabby Black Frantage to one side

I stamped the middle of the Sympathy card, with the wonderful poem that comes in the Sympathy Set, the lovely
Helen Michelle of Visible Image wrote it and it say's it all.

I hope you've considered entering the Visible Image Challenge, the theme is 'Anything Goes', so easy as long as you use at least one Visible Image Stamp, or more of course.

You can also enter in the Visible Image Face Book Group, just comment that you want it in the Challenge.

Thank you so much for popping by, and please leave me a comment.

Hugs to you all, Pauline xxx

Lavinia Stamps, Distress inks, Dylusions, Stickles

Hi there,

It's time for a new Lavinia Stamps Challenge,
the theme for July is 'Summer Colours'. These are my DT makes, to hopefully inspire you to make something and enter, for a chance to win £40 to spend on some new Lavinia goodies.

My first card is 6"x 8", and the background is Dylusion sprays, over stamped in black Archival, with.......
Tree Root, Tree Goddess 'Luna', Wild Flower, and Willow.

I then used a white pen, Stickles and Liquid pearls to add colour to the stamping.
I stamped 'Luna's' wings onto a separate piece of card, coloured them with promarkers and stickles, fussy cut, then added to the image.

My second is a 6"x 6" card, and the background was achieved with Distress inks, and the stamps I used are.............
Gaggle of Geese, Bullrushes, Tree Scene, and Fern Leaf.

All the top stamping was done in Black Archival, the reflection was done with Black soot Distress ink, using my Splodge mat, again I used l
Liquid Pearls and Stickles to add colour to the image.

I hope I have given you a little help, to inspire you to have a go and enter the Challenge, all the rules, details of how to enter and more DT inspiration HERE.

All Lavinia stamps and products can be seen HERE.

Thank you for visiting, and for the fab comments you always leave.

Hugs Pauline xxxx

Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks, Wow embossing powders and Stickles.

Hello friends,

I am doing this page of my blog, from very sunny Swanage, I am relaxing on my holibobs, so just a quick one.

This is my DT inspiration for the new Visible Image Challenge, the theme for July is 'Anything Goes', an easy one for you all to take part in and maybe win £20 of  fantastic new stamps.
It is also the card that I made for the lovely Helen Michelle's Birthday last week, using the fabulous wings from 'Fae Hope Set', Bronte ScriptGrounge FlourishTall Grass, and sentiment from Happy Birthday Set.

I stamped the wings onto card and coloured with Promarkers, and fussy cut them I stamped them again onto heat resistant acetate with Versamark, and heat embossed with black powder, and fussy cut them too, then glued the acetate over the card and added Stickles for sparkle.

The background is Distress inks, with random stamping of the Bronte script, then flicking with water. I stamped the Tall grass and Grunge flourish at the bottom, and with a clear embossing pen made some small circles, added powder and heat embossed, I added stickles for that bit of sparkle.

The larger background was done in the same way, but using a lighter touch !!

I attached the wings with glue gel, and made a body using perfect pearls, the finishing touch was the Happy Birthday, which I stamped once in black ink, and then again offset in Versamark, and heat embossed it, giving a sort of 3D look.

I hope I have inspired you to join in our Challenge, as I said before, such an easy theme 'Anything Goes'. Check out the rules and see the other DT members inspiration HERE.

You can also enter in the Visible Image Facebook group HERE.

Thank you for visiting, hope you'll pop in again.

Hugs Pauline xxxx
