Happy New Year to all my friends and followers, both old and new,
I hope it will be a Happy and Healthy one, and that it brings all your hopes and dreams
Today sees the start of the first Lavinia Stamps Challenge of 2014,
the theme for January is 'Add some Glitter'.
There's a new feature to the Challenge,
if you haven't got a blog, don't worry, you can now enter by Email, details are HERE, so come on, there's no excuse not to enter now !!!! The prize of course is a whopping £40 to spend on new goodies from Lavinia.
I have made 3 cards to help inspire you, all of course using copious amounts of Stickles glitter, lol !!!!
My first card is 7"x 7", and uses a Sweet Poppy stencil, designed by Tracey Dutton of Lavinia Stamps, I used Imagination Crafts 'Sparkle Medium' through it, in 3 colours.
The Lavinia Stamps used are.....
Fairy Couple, Bluebells, Flower Trail, Leaf Trail, The World is full of Beauty,
The Trumpet Fairy, was from a Lavinia set from QVC, as was the Scene Scape used for the background.
My second card is 6" x 8", and again uses a Sweet Poppy Stencil, designed by Tracey Dutton of Lavinia Stamps, but this time I coloured through the stencil with Distress inks, then used Translucent Paste and Micro beads.
The stamps I used are.........
Birds, Lavender, and Nigela Damascena.
I created the background using Distress inks, and loads of Stickles !!!
The last card is 6"x 6".
The Stamps used are.....
Mushroom Dwelling, Birds, Stars 2, Stars and Zen Home is Where the Heart is.
Again I created the background using Distress inks, the Mushroom Dwelling was coloured using Inktense pencils, and the sentiment was heat embossed using 'Wow' Pink Fizz powder, and the finishing touch was loads of Stickles.
All stamps can be seen and purchased HERE,
and you can see all the DT inspiration and enter the Challenge HERE.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at my creations, thank you for taking the time to visit, and to leave me your comments.
Hugs to you all, Pauline xxxx
