I chose the fab 'Corset' stamp and the fantastic 'Ripped Fishnet Background', a match made in heaven, lol, the sentiment is 'Live the Life'.

I started with a white piece of card, on which I stamped the Ripped Fishnet using versamark, and heat embossed with clear powder.

When it was cool, I went over it using Picked Raspberry Distress ink. While this was drying I stamped the Corset twice, using Black Memento ink, one I coloured using Promarkers, and went over places with a Wink of Stella Clear brush pen, for a subtle bit of sparkle, fussy cut it and shaped it and attached it using glue gel for a 3D look.

Before adding the sentiment, I put a piece of ribbon down one side, and finished off with a few gems.

I hope you'll pop over to the Visible Image Facebook Page, to see news of the fabulous new stamps that have just been released, display your own work using their great stamps, ask questions, and generally have a bit of fun.

Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks, Wow embossing powders & Ranger size 8 Manila Tags.

Hi there,

It's Fabulous Friday again, and my turn to share some inspiration using

I chose to make a tag, using the fabulous 'Time after Time' set, and once I started I just couldn't stop, lol, and ended up with 4 !!!

Tag 1 is black, and I used 'Grunge Flourish' with Versamark, and heat embossed in Gold. I stamped the small pocket watch 5 times in Versamark  heat embossed in black, and fussy cut.

Then, using the larger pocket watch, with Versamark, heat embossed with Gold sparkle powder, and again fussy cut.

The sentiments were stamped in black onto a separate piece of card, cut out and inked around the edges using distress ink, then dipped into the gold embossing powder and heat set.

Tag number 2, using a cream tag, I blended the background with distress inks, stamped using the numbers and small pocket watches and cogs. I stamped the larger pocket watch, wings and sentiment onto a separate piece of card, and fussy cut them.

I coloured the wings using water colour pencils and blended with water, used distress inks to age the face then added crackle medium,

and when it was dry, went over all the edges with gilding wax.

Tag 3, I mixed things up a bit with this one and added the fabulous
'Vintage Car', stamped in Versamark, heat embossed in Red Sparkle powder, and fussy cut,

I used the shattered glass stamp from the set for the background, with a line of numbers down one side, The wings were coloured as before and added to the sentiment which was stamped in black and heat embossed in clear.

Stickles were used to brighten some of the edges.

And lastly Tag 4. Colouring and stamping the background, stamping 2 large watches, fussy cutting, masking so that I could stamp the faces with numbers and cogs, and stamping a sentiment. Blue glitter and gilding wax was added around all the edges for a bit of bling !!!

I hope you've found something here,  that inspires you to have a go at a tag, they are quite addictive.

Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Wow Embossing powder on a card.

Hello friends,

Its Friday and my turn to share something I've made with

It's quite a simple 6"x 6" card, using just three Stamps and three Distress colours in Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Mowed Lawn.

The three Visible Image stamps are

I blended the inks gently for the background, then stamped the grass. I used Black Soot Distress ink on 'The One', and then heat embossed using clear embossing powder.

The dragonfly was stamped onto heat resistant acetate using black Archival ink, and heat embossed with clear powder, flipped over and coloured with Promarkers on the reverse side, unfortunately the photo does not show the colours that glow from the wings, just the stickles I added. Fussy cut the dragonfly and attach with glue gel.
The finishing touch is a thin piece of spiders web ribbon.

Have you entered the Challenge yet, Novembers theme is 'Make it Sparkle', there is a fab prize of £20 in stamps up for grabs, to be eligable,
you just need to use at least one Visible Image stamp on your project, pop and look at the DT inspiration and enter HERE.

I have used three of Lavinia's new Zen stamps for this 6"x 6" card,

My second card is again 6"x 6", and uses the gorgeous Zen Tree stamp and Flowers, with a Distress ink background, the tree is coloured with Promarkers,
and again I've used Stickles.

Third and lastly is an 8"x 8" card, and for this I have used Distress inks for the background, the Lavinia stamp Tree set, (which was sold on QVC, by Imagination Crafts, and also sold by Lavinia Stamps at Aly Pally).

Hi Crafty people,

I've had such a busy week this week, the time has flown by again. I can't believe we are at the end of October already, Christmas is nearly upon us.........help I'm nowhere near ready, lol.

Anyway lets get down to craftyness, it is now November so a new Challenge has started at the Visible Image Blog, the new theme is
'Make it Sparkle'.

Here is my inspiration for you to see, in the shape of two Christmas tags,
using the cute New Christmas Character stamps

Both tags were made on a Ranger black size 8 tag, and both Character's were coloured using Promarkers. I used some die cuts from my stash, Cosmic Shimmer dries white glue for the snow, sprinkled with Tim Holtz's Distress stickles dry glitter, in Clear Rock Candy, and Stardust Stickles.

Snowman Jacks tag has a background made with the
Enchanting Snowflakes stamp, which I stamped using Versamark, and heat embossed with Wow, Snow white sparkle embossing powder.

I hope you will make a sparkly project, using at least one Visible Image stamp, and enter it into the challenge this month,
