Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Promarkers and Stickles.

Hello again,

It's Friday, so it's my turn to share my DT work for
This week saw the exciting launch of 3 new stamp sets,
these are the projects I made with them, 3 of which were on the Launch blog, and the 'Tala Heart' is a bonus project, lol !!!

The first is 'Tala' on a wooden heart, which was painted white, stamped with Distress inks, and distressed around the edges, I also aded some edges stamped with the 'Crackled Background' stamp.
The image was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento  coloured with Promarkers, and cut out and glued onto the heart.
The Dream catcher was stamped in Archival onto acetate, coloured with glitter pens, cut out and glued onto the heart, and stickles added

2. Clayton Legend Set.......

The Image was created in the same way as 'Tala', and the background is made from Distress inks, a horse mask, an eagle from the 'Silverheels set', and the rest of the stamps from the Clayton set.

3. Silverheels Brave Set....

This card was done in the same way, and the fire was stamped onto acetate.

4. Tala Catching Dreams Set. ........

Again all made in the same way, except the Dream Catcher was stamped onto Acetate and cut out, I used 'Tall Grass' in the foreground, a branch mask, and an eagle from the Silverheels set.

As you can probably see, I used quite a lot of Glossy Accents, and a liberal amount of Stickles, especially on 'Tala' !!!!

I hope you will pop over to Visible Image and take a look at their fab stamps, there is something to suit everyone,
also have a look at their Face Book Page,
follow their Blog
and join in the monthly Challenge, which for August is 'Anything Goes', there are still 2 days left to enter, using at least 1 Visible Image stamps, but no Digi's please.

Bee Crafty Stamps & Inkables, Distress inks, WOW embossing powder on a tag.

Hi folks,

I hope you all had a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend,I can't believe it's nearly the end of August already, where does all the time fly to, lol!!

I am very excited, on Thursday this week, I am lucky to have managed to bag myself a place at the workshop in Coventry, run by the very famous, very talented, and my crafting hero, Tim Holtz. I just hope I shall be able to take in what he teaches us, and not be too starstruck.....!!!!! I shall be telling you all about it, sometime next week, when I come back down from the clouds, so watch this space!!!!

Today's share is a tag I made a little while ago, using Bee Crafty products.

I used the 'Cow Parsley' and the 'Ferns' stamps from the 'Beautanicals' range,
and the sentiment stamp 'Joy is a flower' is from their 'Wordage' range.

The background was made using Distress inks and a mask, and then I stamped the flower randomly in black, let it dry, and then again in Versamark with WOW white sparkle embossing powder. The leaves were again stamped in Versamark and heat embossed in green pearl, the sentiment was heat embossed in a vibrant pink, lol.
I felt it needed a butterfly, so found one in my stash.

Right I'm off to do some crafting, and I shall start thinking about which tools I need to take with me to use when I'm drooling over 'Sir Tim's' words!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to visit, and also for your fabulous comments.

See you soon, Hugs, Pauline xxx

'Visible Image Stamps', Dylusions Ink and a,' Bee Crafty' Mask.

Hello to all my blogging friends,
and a very warm welcome to my New followers.

Today is Fabulous Friday, and my day to share a card I've made as a DT member for 'Visible Image Stamps'.

The stamps are a pleasure to use, so thick and sturdy, and the images are so crisp and clean.

I chose to do a mans card, which we all find a bit of a problem sometimes, lol, well Visible Image has the solution.

The stamps I used are
'Imagine',  from Imagine, Dream, Inspire.

I started with some white card, which I randomly sprayed with Dylusions, just whatever I picked up first, I placed a mask down on top, and sprayed it all with water, took the mask off, rolled a kitchen roll over it all, and dried with my heat gun. It's a very simple procedure, but gives a fab effect.

When it was dry, I cut it to size, stamped the 'Tyre marks' around the edges, and the sentiment at the top. When it was dry, I went over the word 'Imagine' with a clear embossing pen, and heat embossed with clear powder.

I stamped the 'Vintage Car' onto white piece of card, clear heat embossed it, and then fussy cut it, carefully curved it with my fingers to shape it, and attached it to the card with silicone gel, which gave it dimension.

I hope you like what I've done with these fab stamps, pop by the Facebook group to see what other people are doing using their stamps, and read about the exciting new stamps HERE.

Enter your projects into the Blog Challenge, using at least one Visible Image stamp HERE, the theme for August is 'Anything goes'.

You can also follow and visit their blog to keep up with whats going on HERE.

Thank you for taking the time to visit, also for the inspiring comments you all leave, I appreciate it greatly.

Hope to see you again soon,
Hugs

Promarkers, Michael Powell stamp. Distress inks & Glossy Accents, on a Card & ATC

Hi again friends and New followers,

To-day's share are two cards, on Card and matching ATC (Artist Trading Card, which measures 2 1/2"x 3 1/2"), and a Birthday card.

I belong to an ATC swap group and the theme this month was 'Holiday',
so out came one of my stamps by Michael Powell, this to me always conjures up lovely thoughts of relaxing day's by the sea.

As I was stamping, I decided to make an extra ATC for a card for a man's Birthday.

This is the, ATC and matching card, coloured with Promarkers and distress inks, the card matted and layered onto a 6"x 6" card.

I fussy cut elements of the picture and used silicone gel to give dimension to the ATC.

The Birthday card was done in the same way, but matted and layered onto coloured card, and some birds stamped on it, to give some interest, also
to make the card 6"x 6".

I used a glitter pen here and there and glossy accents to make the sea a little more fluid, also to make the windows and lighthouse come alive.

Thank you for popping in, and also for the great comments you always leave me, I love reading them, although I don't always reply.

Til next time, have a good week.
Hugs,
Pauline

Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks, Wow embossing powder.

Hello to all my lovely followers, both old and new,

Today I am sharing my very first project as a DT member for

I was very excited to be chosen as a part of their team, and I hope you'll all enjoy seeing what I create with their fabulous stamps, today and every Friday I shall be sharing new Visible Image creations with you.

You can keep track of news of new stamps and inspiration on the
Visible Image Blog
 HERE.

For this card I used the 'Chandelier set', 'Music Background'
and 'Grunge Flourish'. You can find these stamps and all other lovely stamps that are available
 HERE.

I started with a white piece of card, and using Distress inks (you can use whatever colours you wish), I stamped the 'Music Background' in 'Wild Honey', I then used the 'Grunge Flourish' in 'Ripe Persimmon  around the edges. On a separate piece of card, I stamped the 'Chandelier' 3 times, using 'Picked Raspberry', Mustard Seed', and 'Ripe Persimmon' randomly on the stamp, and heat embossed using clear embossing powder.

I also stamped my chosen sentiment in the same way and matted and layered it onto coordinating coloured card, and attached it to the background.

Then the bit that takes the time, lol.

I fussy cut the 3 chandelier's and using silicone gel, layered them onto the background, which was then matted and layered, attached it all onto a 6"x 8" card blank and hey presto.

Visible Image has it's own page on Facebook, please join us, you can keep up with news and leave comments and post piccy's of your creations using their stamps, press HERE to be whisked over.

Distress inks, Sweet Poppy Translucent embossing Paste, 'That Special Touch' mask and Micro Beads.

Hi there,

Just popping in to share a card I've made, using another technique I learnt from the wonderful Eileen Godwin.
It is quite a change for me, as I usually cover my card with colour, and this is very white, lol.

This was fun to make, I used a mask and coloured through it using Distress inks, removed the mask and dried the ink thoroughly.
I put the mask back on, applied the paste, took off the mask again and poured micro beads over it.
I suggest you use some sort of box when using the beads, and not what I did...... I tapped them off onto a piece of paper, lol,
they went everywhere !!!!

Please pop to Eileen's blog, and see what she's been creating, her work is stunning.......Eileen Godwin.

Thank you for dropping in and a big welcome to my new followers,
see you all soon,

Hugs
