Lavinia Stamps, Distress Inks, Wow Embossing Powder, Alcohol Inks, Yupo paper, & Stickles.

Happy New Year,

It's the 1st of January 2017, and the Lavinia Creative Challenge has started, the theme for January is 'Starry Night Sky', and a chance to win a whopping £40 Lavinia voucher, can be won if you enter.

Here are my two DT samples, hopefully they will help to inspire you.

The stamps used on this card are.....
the top of-Autumn Tree, and the top of-Spring Trees

The Moon Fairy was stamped onto white card, and masked, then Distress ink's were blended all over, for the background.
I stamped the stars using Versamark, and heat embossed, using silver, white and black Embossing powders.
I stamped the Fairy again onto a separate piece of card, coloured the wings and hair using Distress inks, and fussy cut, I added it to the card using 3D glue gel to give extra dimension, and Stickles for that bit of bling !!

The stamps and inks used on this card are.....

Alcohol Inks background, dripped onto Yupo Paper, and I used Pebeo Dina paints as ground at the bottom.
I stamped the Moon onto white paper, stamping it three times, using a different colour Distress ink each time, fussy cut it and glued it onto the yupo background. The images were all stamped with Versamark, onto heat resistant acetate, and heat embossed using black EP, the tree was heat embossed using white EP. I fussy cut them all, and highlighted them with a white pen.
On the back of them, I used acryic paint to colour them. I added them to the yupo background using 3D glue gel. I also used glitter and Stickles for the starts in the sky, but the photo does'nt show them !!

Get you entries into the challenge HERE, it's on Facebook, so no blog's are needed.

Thanks for dropping in, hugs, Pauline xxxx

Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Wow Embossing Powder & Glitter.

Hellooooo,

This is my last Visible Image Stamps post before Christmas, so I would like to wish you and your Families, a very Merry Christmas,
 and here's to a fantastic 2017.

I'm afraid I've struggled to get good photo's today, it's been so dark, but you'll get the idea.

The stamps set I used on this card was the superb Dare to be Different, and the Sparkle sentiment from Rays of Light.

The background is blended Distress Inks, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, and Chipped Sapphire. I've then stamped around all the edges using Peacock Feathers. I dried the inky card, before stamping the lips in the middle and lipstick cases to the sides, and the sentiment at the bottom, using versamark, then heat embossed using a Wow silver sparkle powder. At this point, I mixed some pink acrylic paint with some water, and splattered (very messy but such good fun) !!

On a separate piece of card I stamped the Lips, using Picked Raspberry Distress Ink, and cut them out, I coloured the middle of the mouth with a black pen, then added copious amounts of Pink glitter, then Glossy accents.
It is far more sparkly in real life.

There's still time to get an entry into the 'Show & Tell', this month you will be in with a chance of winning a fabulous £40 voucher.

Check out the Facebook Group, for lots of inspiration, questions and gossip HERE, and the Facebook page HERE.

Huge Christmas hugs, Pauline xxxx

Visible Image Stamps, Wow Embossing Powder, Distress Inks & Stickles.

Hellooooo,

I'm back with my usual weekly DT inspiration for 'Visible Image', using a couple of awesome stamp sets, Where Dreams Take You  and Live Life Now.

I stamped the fabulous eye, using Versamark, and heat embossed it using a Wow Red powder, yummy. I stamped the eye again with black ink, onto a sticky note, and fussy cut it out, I placed this mask over the embossed eye, and coloured the background using Distress Inks. I then stamped the 'Go where your Dreams take you', again using Distress ink.

I stamped the small butterflies with Versamark, and heat embossed them with the red powder, I then took the mask off, and coloured the Iris, and put a bit of shading into the corner of the eye. The 'Vision' sentiment was stamped with Versamark, onto a separate piece of card, and again heat embossed using the Red powder, and fussy cut.
I used Stickles, to bling up the butterflies, and to put a twinkle in the eye.
