Lavinia Stamps, Archival Inks, and Stickles.

Hi there,

I'm a little late in posting, as the new Lavinia Stamps'Creative Challenge', started last week, the theme this month is......
'Make Something for a Friend'. It is now a Facebook based Challenge, so no need to post to a blog.

Here is my DT inspiration......

In my crafty stash, I had this 6" x 4"  paper-mache wall hanging, in my crafty stash, which has been crying out for some sort of decoration for ages, so I used some yummy Lavinia Stamps on it.

A good coat of gesso was the base, then I blended my inks over it, and stamped using Black Archival ink.

I used pens, Stickles and paint for the details, and also gave the Fairy a set of Acetate wings.

The little 3" x 4" gift card was very easily achieved, with a little blending, and a bit of stamping, and of course some stickles, and some pen work around the edges.

And hey presto, 'Something for a Friend'.

Get you entries in for a chance to win £40 of couchers, to spend on anything in the Lavinia web shop, check it out HERE.

Hugs, Pauline xxxx

Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, & Wow Embossing Powder.

Hi there,

It's Fabulous Friday, and my turn to share a card made using a couple of awesome Visible Image stamp sets.

The sets I used were.....Shine Bright and How Fragile we are.

I used a stencil with some embossing paste first, and when it was dry, I added some colourful Distress inks, I stamped the shattered stamp from the Fragile set, then using a different stencil, I spritzed water through it. I added some gilding wax to the embossed bits.
Using the light bulb stamp, I stamped onto Heat resistant Acetate, using Versamark, and heat embossed using Black powder. I then did the same with the sentiment.

I attached them both to the card using Glue gel.

Visible Image Stamps, Brusho's, Distress inks, Stickles & Glossy Accents.

Hello again,

I'm back to share a card I've made, using some awesome Visible Image Stamps
I've used two sets for this creation, and the cheeky little face from a third......

I stamped and heat embossed the lips, using Versamark and Black EP, then masked it off and blended some Distress inks lightly over the card. I then masked out a square in the middle of the card, leaving about an inch around all the sides. I sprinkled on  Brusho's and spritzed with water and dried immediately, thus giving the darker edges.
Using the Visometry Alfa 1 set, I stamped around the edges using Versamark, and heat embossed in white EP, and using bleach and a brush, I took out the colour from the insides of the letters, then added Distress Inks to fill in.

I used some pink Stickles to add colour to the lips, and when it was dry, I went over it with Glossy Accents.

You've got just over a week to get your Visible Image Show & Tell entries in, for a chance to win a £25 coupon.
Check out the Visible Image Facebook Group, for news and daily inspiration.
Please share the Visible Image love, by liking and sharing the Face Book Page.
And of course pop over to the the Visible Image Blog.

Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks, Aqua Tints, and Brusho's.

Hello,
Well this last week has been lovely, some wonderfully warm weather, well apart from a couple of day's rain, but we have to expect it as it is British weather after all !!!!!

Today I'm sharing a card made with Visible Image Stamps.......

I love these two sets together, they are........

The background is Brusho's with a bit of blended Distress ink, I used a stencil at the bottom and also dripped some liquid ink from the top.

On a separate piece of card I stamped the guitar using a Kaleidoscope ink pad, fussy cut it, and triple embossed it using a clear powder.

Again I stamped the Teenage legs on a separate piece of card, using Distress ink, fussy cut, and using some alcohol  markers, I coloured the jeans slightly darker, and added orange highlights to the sneakers.
And look ...... no pink and no glitter, hehehehe !!!!!

I hope you are working on your Visible Image 'Show & Tell' entry, details.... HERE.
Take a look in the Visible Image Face Book Group........HERE.
