Visible Image Stamps, Visible Image Monolith, Pebeo Dyna acrylic paints, Grunge paste, Wow embossing powder.

Hello there,

Welcome to my bloggie, I was again very lucky to have one of my
Visible Image Monoliths, showcased in the latest ( April 2016 ) edition of the Craft Stamper magazine.

I do love decorating the Monoliths, you get two sides to play with !!!
On this one I used the Visible Image small Inkognito Flower, which is free with the magazine, a definite must have, I also used the Flower Inkognito set.

I painted the MDF using the Dyna paints in 3 colours, got some grunge paste which had some gold mica powder added to it, and using a palette knife added it through a stencil. The flowers were stamped and heat embossed onto acetate, and painted, and I fashioned a vase again using acetate.

The other side of the monolith, was painted in the same way, more flowers on acetate, and the sentiment used was Me Time.

I hope you'll grab some of the fabulous Visible Image Monoliths, they are such fun to play with, endless possibilities.

Do enter the March Show & Tell, for a chance to win some awesome stamps.

Visible Image Stamps, Brusho's, Wow Embossing powder, Versafine Ink & Stampendous Frantage.

Hi there,

Just popping in to share a card, made using an awesome, new stamp set from Visible Image.

The stamp set I used is.........
one of my personal faves !!!!

.

I made the background using Brusho's, sprinkle the paint crystals and spritz with water, it gave me a moody background, perfect for a rainy day.

Using some Black, and some White Frantage, I sprinkled it over the background and heat embossed from underneath.
I stamped the lady into a separate piece of card, using a red Versafine Ink, then added some glue and gilding flake onto her umbrella, and red Stickles onto the lady, leaving her legs free, when she was dry I fussy cut her.

I stamped the sentiment, added some gilding flake and some Stickles to 'Sparkle', and cut them out and mounted them onto red card.

Do take a look at the fantastic new stamp sets, some of them were aired on Create & Craft TV last Sunday HERE, and thank you for watching us and for your support in the sell outs.

Visible Image Stamps, Candy Box Crafts 'Boxette', Viva Chalk Paints, Archival Ink, Grungepaste, Gilding wax & Gilding flake.

Hello,
I was lucky enough to have a project I'd created showcased, in the March 'Craft Stamper' magazine, it's so exciting to see my work in a publication.
I was asked by Helen and Mark (aka Visible Image), to use one of their awesome new stamp sets, on a multi media project, so I chose a
'Candy Box Crafts' fabulous 'Boxette' to work with, here is the result.

The stamp set I used was......Learn to Fly Again

I painted all the components of the Boxette with a coat of dark blue chalk paint, waited until it was dry then added a coat of pale blue chalk paint, when it was all dry I rubbed the paint down using a fine grade sand paper, which exposed the darker paint in places, giving it a bit of a shabby look.

Using a combination of gilding flake glue and Navy Archival Ink, I stamped all the pieces of MDF, using all three of the stamps in the set, and added Gold Gilding Flake to the gluey bits.

Using a stencil and some Grunge paste, I added bits of detail here and there on each piece, whilst still wet wet, I added fine glitter.
After it was dry, I glued together all the components, making up the boxette.

To finish off the box, I went around all the edges with gold Gilding wax, and added a little Stardust Stickles for a bit of extra sparkle.

Don't forget that Mark and I are on the telebox on this
Sunday (Valentines Day) 14th February, at 10am,
We will be showcasing 6 brand new Stamp Sets, and the MDF Monoliths,
 showing you some techniques,
and giving you ideas of how you could decorate them.

Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Heat Resistant Acetate & Wow Embossing Powder.

Hi there,
I'm back again with a tag I've made, using an awesome set of Visible Image Stamps. his one of the brand new designs, that are ready to pre-order now.

The set I've used on this tag is 'Learn to Fly Again'.

I used Distress inks for the background of the tag, the brighter the better, lol, and blended them together. I stamped the birds onto heat resistant acetate, using Versamark, then heat embossed using a gold sparkle embossing powder. I cut the acetate close to the outside birds and attached it to the tag with 3D gel.

On a separate piece of card, I stamped the feather in various colours to match the background, and a few in the same gold embossing powder, I then fussy cut them all, then made a nest with some corrugated kraft card and garden twine, and added some gold glitter too.

The sentiment was stamped onto Kraft card using Versamark, and heat embossed with white embossing powder, and torn around, I added some tacky glue, and some gold glitter to make it pop.

Pop over the the webshop and check out all the fantastic new Visible Image designs HERE.

Mark and I will be demoing some of them on Create & Craft TV, on Sunday 14th February (Yep, Valentines Day) at 10am.
Catch the programme on SKY 674, FREEVIEW 36, VIRGIN 748 or FREESAT 813.
