Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Heat Resistant Acetate & Wow Embossing Powder.

Hi there,
I'm back again with a tag I've made, using an awesome set of Visible Image Stamps. his one of the brand new designs, that are ready to pre-order now.

The set I've used on this tag is 'Learn to Fly Again'.

I used Distress inks for the background of the tag, the brighter the better, lol, and blended them together. I stamped the birds onto heat resistant acetate, using Versamark, then heat embossed using a gold sparkle embossing powder. I cut the acetate close to the outside birds and attached it to the tag with 3D gel.

On a separate piece of card, I stamped the feather in various colours to match the background, and a few in the same gold embossing powder, I then fussy cut them all, then made a nest with some corrugated kraft card and garden twine, and added some gold glitter too.

The sentiment was stamped onto Kraft card using Versamark, and heat embossed with white embossing powder, and torn around, I added some tacky glue, and some gold glitter to make it pop.

Pop over the the webshop and check out all the fantastic new Visible Image designs HERE.

Mark and I will be demoing some of them on Create & Craft TV, on Sunday 14th February (Yep, Valentines Day) at 10am.

Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Wow Embossing powder

Hello,

It was the 15th Anniversary, of my partner's and my first date a few days ago, and this is the  card I made him, using a set of awesome, brand new Visible Image stamps that are available for pre-order on Saturday 30th Jan, pop over to the webshop and see what else is available HERE.

The stamps I used are SoulmatesBronte ScriptCrackled Background and the feathers and birds from the new 'Learn to Fly Again' set.

I took a piece of Centura Pearl card, and using the mat side, I added a length of masking tape 2/3rds down, and worked on the top first.
I stamped the script using Versamark, and heat embossed with Clear powder. I then blended 'Abandoned Coral' Distress ink over the embossing.
With a Quickie glue pen and some gilding flake, I added some gold highlights.
Now to the bottom 1/3rd of the card, I stamped the Crackled stamp with 'Abandoned Coral', then blended around the edges with 'Peacock Feathers'. I stamped the sentiment with Black Versafine ink, and added two birds in 'Peacock Feathers'.

I die cut two hearts, and whilst they were still in the die, I blended 'Peacock Feathers around the edges, and stamped the script with the same ink. Using  'Abandoned Coral' with the Feather and Birds out of the new set, I stamped onto the hearts, and again added a bit of gilding flake with the glue pen.
To finish off, I added a string bow.

I stamped the Large Butterfly onto another piece of card, using Versamark, and heat embossed using Black detail powder, fussy cut it, then coloured it using Distress Inks and a water brush.

I stamped the sentiment using Black Versafine ink.

I put a paper middle inside the card too, using the beautiful verse that comes in the the sentiment set.

Hellloooo again,

It's another Fabulous Friday, the gateway to a great weekend hopefully,

The background is Brusho's on white card, in a circle I stamped the feather six times with Festive Berries Distress ink, in a circle shape. I stamped the sentiment in the centre using Versamark, and heat embossed with Black powder, and highlighted it with a white pen.
I sprinkled Black Frantage around the outside of the feathers and heated from underneath to set.

On Black card, I stamped the feather stamp six times using Versamark, heat embossed with pale Blue and dark Blue powder, and fussy cut. I used Gold Gilding wax around the edges of the background card, and all the edges of the 6 feathers. Lastly I placed the feathers in a circle and attached using Glue Gel.

Visible Image Stamps, Brusho's, Distress inks, Heatproof Acetate, Wow Embossing Powder and Stickles.

Hi Crafters,

This is my first Blog of 2016, so Happy New Year, and I hope the forthcoming year brings you happiness and smiles.

This week I wanted to share an 8" x 8" card I made for the Visible Image TV show on C&C in December, using some of their awesome stamps.

The stamps I used on this project are.........

The background was created using Brusho's, the sprinkle and spritz method, onto some white 7.5" x 7.5" card, whilst it is still wet, place a harlequin design stencil on top and dry through it with kitchen roll, remove the stencil, and leave the card to dry naturally.

The eye needs to be stamped twice, onto heatproof acetate using Versamark, and heat emboss it using Black embossing powder, then fussy cut them both out. Turn one eye over thus making a pair.
On the reverse side of the eyes, (remembering that one will have the embossing on the front, and one the embossing on the back)
colour the iris with alcohol pens, then paint over the eyes with white gesso, ( you might need to do 2 coats) so when you turn them over to the front, you have a coloured  iris, and whites of the eyes.
Pop these to one side, whilst you complete the background.

Right, on your now dry background card, place the eyes in a position you're happy with, but don't glue them yet, you can gauge how much card you have left to decorate,, remove the eyes, using the Inkognito flower head, stamp the bottom half of the card using 'Mustard seed' Distress ink, then stamp over again with 'Ripe Persimmon', giving a sort of 3D look.
Using the longest bit of the flower stamp splats, stamp around the top of the card using 'Salty Ocean'.

Now attach your eyes, using glue, you can see where to stamp your sentiment, and using Versamark, and heat emboss with White Embossing powder.
Now the eyebrows, (which is the Inkognito Flower Stem), stamp using 'Mustard Seed', then stamp again using 'Salty Ocean'.
To finish off, add some white pen as the light source in the eye, use some Black Stickles around the eye, and yellow Stickles in the middle of the flowers for that bit of bling.

Have a look at the January Visible Image 'Show and Tell', and get your entry in, for a chance to win some fantastic stamps, and there's some really awesome new designs coming out very soon.

The next Visible Image Create & Craft TV appearance,
is scheduled for Saturday February 6th, at 11am,
Mr. Visible image (Mark) and myself will be demoing some fantastic new Stamp designs and......something else !!!

If you keep your eye on the Visible Image Facebook group HERE, you may well get some sneak peeks at some point......just saying !!!!

Thanks for visiting, and sorry about the rambling, lol,
Hugs, Pauline xxxxxxx

Visible Image Stamps, Demo cards from the C&C TV Show 12.12.15

Hi there my lovely friends,

As you probably know, Visible Image Stamps had a show on Create & Craft TV last Saturday, between the Awesome Mr Mark Alexander and myself, we managed to demo five cards, mine were very quick, so I thought I'd run through them again in a bit more detail........

Card One.....

The first demo was using the stamp set..... Angels are Near.

For the background, I took a piece of white Centura Pearl card, and using 3 Distress ink colours, I blended them, spritzed it with water, and blotted with kitchen towel.
Using the feather stamp covered in Versamark, I stamped in the middle, then heat embossed using white detail powder. Using the feather again, but only the splatty end of it, and a gold ink pad, I stamped around the edges of the inked background, I then applied gold gilding wax with my finger around the four edges. mat andd layered it onto a card blank.
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment using a gold sparkle EP, onto a small piece of card, added gilding wax to the edges, and mat and layered it onto the card

The feather was stamped again onto a piece of heat proof acetate, with versamark, heat embossed using the gold sparkle EP again, and fussy cut, this was applied to the card using 3D glue.

Card Two....

The stamp set was.....Butterfly Inkognito Set.

I stamped both the butterfly and the sentiment on a white piece of card, using a Versamark pad, and heat embossed with Clear powder, when it had cooled, I blended over the stamping, using 3 colours of Distress ink, and like magic the image and sentiment appear, I then spritzed with water and dried.
Using a tacky glue on my index finger I went around the edges of the card, then sprinkled glitter on it to give a sparkly edge.

I stamped the butterfly using versamark, onto heat proof acetate, and heat embossed using a white detail powder, I folded the acetate so's that the butterfly's wings were together, and cut some rounded wings, taking off all the ink splats, this was attached to the card leaving the wings free to flutter, I added glitter glue for that extra sparkle.

Card three.......

The stamp set used was.......Behind every Mask.

Taking 2 similar colours of Distress ink, I used Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar, I put the ink straight from the pads onto my glass mat, sprayed water onto it so it was nice and wet, and 'smooched' (my term, lol) my card into the mixture to cover the card with a coloured wash, I dried it straight away using my heat gun. Using Picked Raspberry, I edged the cars with my blending tool.

Now to the bit that I did'nt show on TV, because of time....... I mixed a small bit of gold mica powder with Picked Raspberry and water, and using a paint brush, I went around the edges of the background, I also did the same to a small piece of card fro the sentiment. I added a touch more water to the mixture that was left, loaded up my paint brush with it and flicked it over the coloured background.
Taking the image and the sentiment, I stamped them both using Picked Raspberry, I also coloured in the iris's of the eyes with a blue pen, and added a dot of gold mice & water to the middle of the eye.

I  stamped the mask image with Versamark onto heat proof acetate, then used some yummy Pink/Gold sparkle EP  and heat sealed it, I fussy cut it, also cutting out the eyes too, and attached it to the card with 3D glue.

Thank you for watching the show, and also if you emailed in thank you too.

Check out the Visible Image Face Book Group, lots of daily inspiration, news and general chat, with lovely people who are fans of the awesome stamps.

I wish you and your families a very very Merry Christmas,
and have a fabulous New Year.

Hugs, pauline xxxxxx
