Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Wow Embossing Powder, Tim Holtz Layering Stencil, White Frantage and stickles.

Hello all you lovely people,

I'm here again to share a very simple card, made with some more fabulous

On this 6" x 6" Card the stamps I used were......
Edgy and 'Creativity is good for the Soul' from the Make me Smile set.

I used some new Distress inks for the background, Fissilized Amber, Mermaid Lagoon and Abandoned Coral, blending them together where they met. I then put the Chevron layering Stencil on top and spritzed water through, waiting a few seconds, then rolling a kitchen roll over it. Then with the edge stamp, I went round the 4 sides stamping with Abandoned Coral, I used the same colour in the middle using the larger stamp. After drying it all thoroughly, using Versamark, I stamped all the sides again, using the edge stamp, and stamped the sentiment also in Versamark, and heat embossed in white powder.

I added some Stampendous white frantage, and heated it from underneath using my heat tool, and dotted some Gold Stickles around the edges and at the bottom of the letters.

Two weeks left to post you Visible Image projects into the 'Show and Tell' album, for a chance to win some new stamps, all details are HERE.

There is always the Visible Image Facebook Group to check out lots of fabulous inspiration HERE.

Big hugs, Pauline xxxx

Visible Image Stamps, Aquatints, Grunge paste, TWC Stencil, Wow embossing powder, Treasure Gold, and Stickles.

Hi there,

It's fabulous Friday again, and I'd like to share a creation I've made using some of the fantastic Visible Image Stamps available.

I decided to make a sort of mixed media card, using my very favourite butterfly stamps.

The stamps I used were........

I started off with a piece of watercolour card, and smoothed Grunge paste through a wood patterned stencil, when it as dry, I painted randomly it using Aquatints. Using the Retro Dots background and the Bronte script, and some Distress inks, I stamped randomly holding the stamp in my hand, and not on a block, then with the Treasure Gold gilding wax on my finger, I added it to the raised bits to enhance the pattern.

On a piece of black card, I stamped 5 smaller Butterflies and one large Butterfly with Versamark, and heat embossed using white powder, and fussy cut them all out, I  also used the same steps for the sentiment. I used Stickles as a colouring medium on the butterflies.

Don't forget to post your Visible Image makes into the May 'Show and Tell', for a chance to win some stamps, there are already some great entries, details HERE.

Also check out the Visible Image Facebook Group, there is always lots going on HERE.

The stamps I used on the first one are......

The background is Distress inks, blended from light in the middle to dark around the edges, and stamped again using Distress inks, with Stickles added.

The stamps used on the next card are......

Again I used Distress inks for everything, and of course Stickles !!!

And the stamps used in the last one are......

I created a scene using Distress inks, and a moon mask, I stamped the Blossom trees using black versafine, then using thick bleach, bleached out the flowers. I stamped everything else with black ink, then used Stickles as a colouring medium.

Visible Image Stamps, Alcohol Inks, Wow embossing powder and Stickles.

Hey my crafty friends, how are you.

Another week has flown by, and I've been busy creating, as usual.
I was having a bit of  sort out, and found my Alcohol inks, so have been playing with them, I love their bright juicy colours, and of course they are the perfect match with some awesome Visible Image Stamps.

The Visible Image stamps used on these two card were...
Flower Inkognito ( one of my favourite ) and the Happy Birthday Set.

Using a Distress Ink blending tool with a piece of felt, I put 3 colours of Alcohol ink onto the felt, and a drop of Blending Fluid, then pounced over a piece of
 8"x 8" white gloss card.
For the first card I cut a 5" x 5" piece from the pattered card I had just made, and stamped  the flower and stem using Versamark, and heat embossed using Black powder, then using the Happy Birthday stamp, did the same. a little bit of mat and layering onto a 6" card blank and some Stickles, and hey presto........

The second card was the left over pieces of  the card I had coloured, and again using the same stamps and versamark, but this time using a black sparkle embossing powder, adding Stickles to finish. 2 Very simple cards made.

This was a tag I made for the lovely Mrs Awesome, (aka) Helen, as she was feeling very under the weather with 'manflu' last week caught from Mr Awesome himself, Mark, the owners of Visible Image Stamps.

The Visible Image stamps I used on this was...
I made this tag in the same way as before, but instead of pouncing the ink, I dragged and weaved my tool onto the card, giving a sort of wavy effect, I stamped the Inkognito butterfly, and heat embossed in black powder again, I then stamped the large butterfly with Versamark and heat embossed, onto a small piece of heat resistant acetate, and fussy cut it, fixing it above the butterfly on the tag, a sentiment and some mat and layers, and of course Stickles to finish.

A new months 'Show and Tell' has started for May, so get your entries in for a chance to win some fantastic stamps, details HERE.

Check out our Visible Image group on Facebook HERE.

If any one out there is interested, Visible image has a Design Team call out at the moment, looking for new teamies to join us in spreading the

Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Versamark Pad, Wow Black Embossing powder and Stickles.

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are feeling crafty and well.
Today I'd like to share a couple of cards that I made recently, using some unique Visible Image Stamps.
I created these cards for 2 workshops I was luckily enough to conduct, on behalf of Visible Image, at a fabulous shop in Studley, Pink Tulip Creations Ltd.
I had a fantastic day, showing a group of lovely Ladies, the quality of the Visible Image Stamps, along with a few techniques using Distress Inks and heat embossing.
Thank you to Sheila, (the owner of Pink Tulip), and her two right hand women Tracey and Angela, for organising such a great day and looking after me too.

 Here are my samples.

The stamps used on this card are the Colours of the Wind set.

And on this card I used Feel the BeatSoul Music and Plasma.

The workshop Ladies made such fabulous cards, they are a very talented group, thank you for putting up with me, and my warped sense of humour lol,  I hope you all had as much fun as I did.

Do pop over to the Visible Image 'Show and Tell', take a look at the wonderful works of art that people have made with the awesome stamps, it's not too late to enter your creation, for a chance of winning a new stamp.

Check out the Visible Image Face book Group, if you haven't already, there's a friendly buzz going on there, with loads of inspiration along with some spot competitions.

Many thanks for visiting,

Hugs, Pauline xxxxx

Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Wow Black Embossing Powder, and Black Stickles.

Hi there,

I'm doing my Visible Image Stamps blog early this week,
as I have swapped with my teamie Sue.

This is a card I created at the beginning of the month, using some fantastic Visible Image Stamps, for my Wonderful partner Rob's Birthday, he is a drummer, so these new music themed stamps are genius for him.

The Visible Image stamps I used were.......

I started off with a 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" piece of Centura Pearl card, (I always use the mat side of the card for blending Distress Inks, it's nice and smooth).
I blended Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers onto it, making sure that there was Mustard Seed in the middle. I then used the star stamp from the Universal set and stamped 4 stars using the same colours tone on tone. I Stamped the drummer and the sentiment using Versamark, and heat embossed with black powder. Using the feather stamp from 'Angels are near', I stamped just the inky tip around the edges using the same colours, tone on tone again, and then another layer at the edge using Chipped Sapphire.

This would have made a great 6"x 6" card, but I decided to go bigger, lol.
So, on the mat side of a piece of Centura Pearl 7 1/4" x 7 1/4", and using the music stamp, I stamped from the middle out all the way around the card, again using the same 3 colours to co-ordinate with the topper. I then stamped the tip of the feather, again using Chipped Sapphire, around the edges. To finish off, I added Black Stickles to the sentiment, parts of the Drummer, and the edges of the larger background, I  then mat and layered onto an 8" x 8" card blank.

Don't forget to enter the Visible Image 'Show and Tell' competition, for a chance to win some fantastic stamps, details HERE.
Also visit the Visible Image Facebook Group HERE, there's always lots going on, and plenty of inspiration too.

There is a Visible Image Workshop day, in Bristol, on Sunday 17th May,
