Pauline's Inky Workshop 3 - The Coaster Story Results...

Hi there,

I ran a Workshop on Sunday, painting and decorating some fabulous Coaster sets from Candy Box Crafts Ltd., the inspiration for doing these coasters came from my very good friend Eileen Godwin, (in fact she held me down by my neck and told me I'd got to do them, lol !!!) Thank you Eileen, love you.

Thank you too, to all the lovely crafters that can to play, and got messy, including the very excited and talented 11 year old Maisie.
Everyone was so engrossed and quiet at times I thought you'd all gone to sleep, lol, the results are stunning, but see for yourselves.

I had the best-est of times, with such fantastic company, and I can't wait to do it all again on Sunday 14th June, I hope you can come.

Aren't they all fantastic ???

Visible Image Stamps, Distress Inks, Promarkers and Glossy Accents

Helloooo,

Another week has passed in a blurrrr,
not enough hours in the days to do all the crafting I'd like to, hehehehe !!!

Today's share from Visible Image Stamps, is a card made with the fabulous
White Rabbit from the Wonderland collection.

A slightly different take for me, I wanted it to look fresh and Spring like, and could be given as an Easter Card, so I kept the inking to a bare minimum.

I stamped the Wabbit, he is sooooo cute, with Memento, and coloured him with Promarkers, adding some glossy accents to his eyes and watch, and a glitter pen to make some faux metal buttons and around the watch.
I used very little Distress ink, just around the edges and to ground him, then stamped the Winter Tree to either side, and the sentiments that come with Wabbit.

I hope you've added some Visible Image creations to the 'Show & Tell', there's a chance of you winning some stamps, if your's is chosen at the end of the month.

The Visible Image Face Book Group is buzzing at the moment, like the group and join in, loads of inspiration, and another place to share your Visible Image creations.

I have 'Pauline's Inky Workshop 3' on Sunday, we will be playing with coasters, I shall photo's and results in the week.

Hugs, Pauline xxxxx

Lavinia Stamps, Distress inks, Promarkers, Stickles and a few gems.

Hi there,

Gosh we are already into March, and I must admit, I'm enjoying the bit of sunshine that we have occasionally !!

Today I like to share a couple of cards I've created, as a DT member, hopefully to inspire you to get your entries into the new Lavinia Stamps Challenge, the theme for March is 'Add some Gems'.

The stamps I've used on this card are........

I stamped Giselle using Memento Black Tuxedo, and coloured her using Promarkers, I roughly blended 2 colours of Distress ink around her, and grounded her too with some bumpy grass. I then stamped the words using Black Versafine ink.

I also stamped an extra set of wings which I coloured and fussy cut and added to Giselle to give a bit more dimension, I then added some small gems in the bubbles and randomly in the words and of course some Stickles on the wings.

The stamp on this card is.......

I decided to make a very simple card with this stamp, unlike me, lol, it is such a beautiful image I felt it needed to be seen in all it's glory, so I cut 3 circle shapes on my Big Shot with some Spellbinders dies, and a card blank using the largest die. On the smallest circle, I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and again coloured with Promarkers, I blended around the edge with Distress ink, and added a Timmy Chit Chat sticker. I blended Distress inks on the edges f the next 2 circles for matt and layering, added it all to the card blank, ad stuck a few gems on, Stickles finished it all off.

You can always enter the Challenge by email if you haven't got a blog, all the details are HERE, there's a chance of winning a whopping £40 worth of products from the Lavinia  web-Shop.

I am running a workshop on Sunday 8th March 10am- 4pm at a venue in Warwick, this month we are decorating Coasters, using paints inks and stamps, for more information please contact me via PM on FB, or email me at robingphipps@msn.com

Thank you for visiting, and for your inspirational comments, they are much appreciated.

Visible Image Stamps, Oak House Studio Colour Chemistry Inks, Wow Embossing powder and Stickles.

Hello friends,

It's Friday again, and I'm here to share another of my creations, using some fabulous Visible Image Stamps,
if you've not tried these top quality, thick polymer stamps yet, please do, they are such unique designs, hand made and cut, and they stamp perfectly each time.

Visible Image Stamps used............
Behind Every Mask, Ink Splats, the Drip and the finger print out of Dag & Drip, and the feathers and birds out of Free your Imagination.

This card is 8"x 8", and I started off with a piece of card 7"x 7", stamping the edges with the drips and ink splats, using Oak House Studio Colour Chemistry Pigment ink pads, in 3 colours, (they are such bright yummy colours, just up my street). I then took another piece of card 5"x 5", and blended the same 3 colours, then stamped the feathers with Versamark, and heat embossed using White powder, I then stamped the birds and the fingerprints on both pieces af card. I stamped the Hawk onto a seperate piece of card and fussy cut it, leaving a very small boarder of white around it, then coloured the edges, I shaped it and attached it using glue gel to raise it. The sentiment was stamped and cut out. I added some coloured mats and layers, then put it to a black card blank added glossy accents to the eyes and Black Stickles around the edges of the Hawk.
