Lavinia Stamps, distress inks, Wow embossing powder, Twinkling H20's, Stickles and Glossy Accents.

Howdy all,

It's lovely Lavinia Stamp time again whoo hoo,
and the start of a new Challenge, the theme for May is 'Birthday Girl'.

I have made two cards as my DT inspiration, I hope you like them.

My first card is 6"x 8", the stamps used are
'Fairy Words', 'Giselle', 'Lavender', 'Stars 2' and 'Have a Fairy Happy Birthday', you can view all the stamps HERE.

I stamped the Fairy Words and the Happy Birthday in Versamark, and heat embossed with a Pink sparkle Wow powder, I stamped the stars all over the remaining card, adding stickles here and there for that must have sparkle.

On a separate piece of card, I stamped the lovely Giselle, coloured her using Twinkling H20 paints, unfortunately the photo does not show the great effect these paints have. I also stamped the Lavender, using 3 colours of Distress inks, then added stickles, (I am addicted, lol), and Glossy accents to the bubbles.
When it was all dry, I used a die, to cut it into a circle, and added a mat of bright pink.

My 2nd Card was created using,
'Spiral of Spells', 'Fayllin', 'Willow', 'Field Grass', Slender Mushrooms', 'Butterflies' and 'Miniature Toadstool', you can view all the stamps HERE.

This 6"x 6" card was coloured using Distress inks, and stamped using Spiral of spells in Tumbled Glass, Fayllin in Chipped Shapphire, then the plants were added around the card.
I coloured the Fairy wings with Promarkers, added stickles....again !!!, then little gems to the spiral.

The butterflies were stamped in Picked Raspberry, fussy cut, then, (of course) dabbed with stickles.

I hope you'll join in the Challenge, please pop over to the blog to see all the DT inspiration, they are all little works of art, have a go yourself, you don't have to have a blog, you can enter by email too, all details are HERE.

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated, thank you also for your fabulous comments, I love them.

See you soon,

Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks, Liquid Pearls and Versafine ink.

Hi there,

Gosh, we are in to May already, the time seems to go so quickly, or is it me getting older, lol.

I'm sharing a card, created using Visible Image Stamps, there is such a fantastic selection, I never tire of using them.

I printed a picture of an old map from a free to print site, cut it to the size I wanted, coloured it with Distress inks, then scrunched it up and creased it, using Vintage Photo Distress inks on all the creases, I ripped the sides and again gave it a generous dose of Vintage Photo ink. When I eass happy with it, I attached it to some brown bazill card, which I had gone over with gilding wax.

I stamped the Castle onto a small tag, coloured it and the background with Distress inks, masked off the castle and stamped with the script stamp, then stamped the tree and added some pink liquid pearls.

Once Upon a Time was stamped onto a piece of card, cut out, and coloured.

'Imagine' and the 'birds' were stamped directly onto the map, and I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the butterfly.

The stamps used on this 6"x 8" card are.....

Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks & Wow Embossing powder.

Hello there,

It's the 1st of May, and the start of a new Visible Image Challenge,
the theme for this month is 'Anything Goes',
so as long as you use at least ONE, yes one, Visible Image stamp on your project, the worlds your oyster,
and of course don't forget, there's a prize of £20 of new stamps for the winning project.

My DT inspiration is a 6"x 8" card, created using the fabulous
Sewing Room Set and the Large Butterfly stamp.

Most of the projects I've seen made using the sewing set, have been vintage, so you all know me, I love a bit of colour, so I've made it bright and very girly.
The background was created using Antique Linen with the tape measure stamp, I added a pink button hole randomly, and used the stitch stamp around the edges in Worn lipstick.

I stamped loads of the buttons and cotton reels in different shades of Distress ink, and fussy cut them. The dress form I stamped in Vintage Photo, and shaded it with Walnut stain, and coated it with glossy accents, and fussy cut it, I also stamped just the body part in Worn Lipstick, and again shaded one side, fussy cut and added it on top of the dress form as a bodice, added some pleated pink tulle and a bit of ribbon as a skirt, and popped on a sparkly gem.

The large butterfly I stamped in versamark, and heat embossed in pink Wow powder, fussy cut, and coloured with Distress ink, and glued to the back of the Dress form.

I wired some of the buttons together, to make bunting, I stamped 2 sentiments onto card, cut them out and stitched with a stamp, lol. I also added a bit of rolled tulle mixed in with the cotton reels, and mixed 3 hat pins in with the buttons.

If you haven't got a blog, and would still like to enter the Challenge, just pop over to the Visible Image Facebook Group, and add your photo stating that it's a Challenge entry.

Thank you for popping by, and thank you for your fab comments, I love reading them.

Big hugs, Pauline xxx

Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks, Stampendous embossing powder.

Hello again, and a very warm welcome to my new followers,

Today's card I created using just three stamps from the
fabulous Visible Image selection.

I used the damask flourish and the small rose from the Immortal Love set, and the Hearts Entwined sentiment.
I started off by stamping the damask flourish as a background, using Spun Sugar Distress ink. I then coloured some card with Festive Berries Distress ink, stamped 4 small roses with Versamark, and heat embossed using a Stampendous red sparkle powder. I coloured some more card, using Worn lipstick Distress ink this time, and  stamped 5 small roses, again in versamark, and heat embossed using the Stampendous Red sparkle powder, then fussy cut them all out. I stamped the sentiment using Black Versafine, die cut it using a heart die, and coloured the edges with Festive Berries. I attached it all to the 6"x 6" card using glue gel.

Don't forget to enter the April Visible Image 'Tag' challenge, they are so quick to make, just make sure you use at least one Visible Image stamp for a chance to win £20 worth of new stamps. Details and DT inspiration HERE.

If you haven't got a blog, no worries, you can still enter in the Face Book group, HERE.

Thank you so much for visiting, and for the wonderful comments,

Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks, Promarkers, & Wow Embossing Powder.

Hi my Crafty Friends,

and a big welcome to my new Followers.

This week I thought I'd do something a little different, using two of the fabulous Visible Image Stamp sets,

I started with the background, a moon mask and Distress inks to make a moody scene, using torn paper to create the grass.
I stamped trees using Edwards twig, and stamped Isabella's fence, highlighting it with a white pen in a few areas, then added a sprinkle of bats for good measure !!!

I stamped the characters in Black Memento, coloured them in Promarkers, and also used some Chipped Sapphire Distress ink, to shade the left of Isabella and the right of Edward, that helped to make the moonlight brighter. I stamped the rose onto shrink plastic, and coloured it red with a promarker, and again used the twig for the stem. The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed onto acetate, and cut out and attached.

I enjoyed creating this scene, and bringing the characters to life.

Have you thought about making a tag with your Visible Image stamps, and entering this month Challenge, take a look at the DT inspiration, and check out the rules HERE, you may be the winner of £20 worth of new stamps.

If you haven't got a blog, you can still enter on the wall of the Visible Image Facebook Group, HERE.

Thank you all for visiting, and for the fantastic comments you leave me, I don't always reply, but I do always read them, thank you.

Till next time,

Big hugs, Pauline xxxx

Visible Image Stamps and Distress inks, on a pop up card

Hello again,

It's Fabulous Friday, and after seeing the internet flooded with pop-up cards recently, and a Challenge from my friend Hazel Eaton, I've made this one,
using the fantastic Immortal Love set of stamps, from Visible Image.

I was supposed to only use the one set of stamps, but I sneaked in
Bronte Script and Ink Splats, both so versatile for backgrounds.
I used 3 of my favorite colour's of Distress ink, Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers and Black.

The construction was quite easy, (there are lots of recipe's on U-tube). I then  just stamped and fussycut the images I needed and stuck them in place.

I was very pleased with the outcome, I hope you like it too.

Don't forget to enter the Visible Image Challenge, April's theme is 'Tags', which is easy, come on, have a go, there's a chance of winning £20 worth of stamps of your own choice.

Join the Visible Image Facebook Group, see what's happening, and also put up piccy's of your creations made with Visible Image Stamps. You can also enter the Challenge there if you don't have a blog.

If you're going to Alexandra Palace this weekend, pop and see the Creators of Visible Image Stamps on Stand 54, the lovely Helen Michelle, and the Awesome Mark Alexander, they would love a hug.

Thank you for popping by, and again thank you for the fabulous comments.

Take care, see you soon,

Big hugs, Pauline xxxx

Clarity Stencil, Distress inks, Sweet Poppy Translucent Embossing paste and Micro beads.

Hi there,

Just a quickie, a card I made earlier this year, using a Clarity stencil, Distress inks, Sweet Poppy Translucent embossing paste and micro beads.....

I just painted through the stencil with Distress inks, washed the stencil, and heat dried the inked image, popped the stencil back on, taped it down, added Sweet Poppy translucent embossing paste with a spatula, took away the stencil and sprinkled with micro beads, and left to dry.

Thank you for popping by,

Hugs Pauline xxxx
