Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks, Acrylic paints and Stickles.

Hi there,

It's been so sunny the last few days, it's made me feel that Spring and Summer are just round the corner, which inspired me to make this card, using

The stamps I've used are....
Winter TreeTall Grass, one of the butterflies from the Katie Kisses Set and the Birds from the Free Your Imagination Set.

This is an 8"x 8" card, the background was created using a mask for the Sun and Distress inks blended, then spritzed with water and blotted. The grass is done using a ripped piece of paper and different greens. I then Stamped the Trees, again in different browns.
Then came the fun part, using the handle end of a paint brush and some acrylic paint, I dabbed yellow and white to the trees, and pink and white for the flowers.

I also added green leaves to the trees and a bit of grass in the distance using a promarker, and dabbed the flowers with Stickles. I coloured and fussy cut the butterfly, and stamped the birds.

Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks and Wow embossing powder.

Hi All,

I hope you've all had a fabulous week, and the sunshine has reached you.

Today I am sharing some inspiration, using some more fantastic

The stamps I've used on this 8"x 8" card are.....

I started off using 3 colours of Distress inks randomly on the background, using a Distress tool, then stamping with the darkest colour using the Grunge Polka Dot, and then wrapping the Ripped Fishnet around my fingers, using the same colour ink, just kissing the background gently in places, then using the Bronte Script and the medium colour, again wrapping the stamp around my fingers, stamp randomly.

The topper was created using the same method, but using the colours far more gently, so they look lighter. I used a brown to stamp the grass, and a slightly darker blue for the flowers. The butterfly was stamped twice with versamark, and heat embossed with yellow powder, and fussy cut, the extra butterfly was cut shorter following the design, to give a different centre. I added the sentiment and a gem.

Have you entered the March Challenge yet, come on, make something with the theme 'Use your Favourite Visible Image Stamps', you have a chance of winning a £20 voucher, take a look at the DT inspiration and enter HERE.

Lavinia Stamps and Distress inks.

Hi friends,
It's the 1st on March, and you know what that means, yes, the start of a new Lavinia Stamps Challenge.

This month the theme is 'add some pink', I think you'll agree that's a pretty easy brief, lol.

I have made a couple of cards, to hopefully give you a little bit of inspiration.

The stamps I used to create this scene were......
Ducks, Trees, Tree Scene, Fairy Bridge, Bluebells, Bull rushes, and Gaggle of geese, the stamps can be seen HERE.
I created the background using Distress inks, stamped and and fussy cut the elements, and then built up the scene using glue gel.

The second card I created using a technique I learned from my friend
Eileen Godwin using distress inks.

The stamps I used for this card were....
Believe, Fayllin, Dandelions, and Bull Rushes, you can see the stamps HERE.

Again I created the background using Distress inks, then added the elements using Versafine in Black, and stickles.

I hope you'll pop over to the Lavinia Challenge blog, and see all the DT inspiration, read the rules and enter HERE, the superb prize of £40 worth of Lavinia goodies, is just waiting to be won.

Thank you so much again for visiting,

Visible Image, Dylusion sprays, Treasure Gold Gilding wax.

Hello again,

Today I am sharing a creation using some fabulous
for the new March Challenge, the theme is 'Favourite Stamps'.

Now I had a bit of a problem with this theme, because I have so many 'favourites' in my Visible Image collection, had I used them all, it would be a mighty big project, lol.
So I decided to use the first stamps I ever purchased from Visible image, Classic Face, was my first stamp, then Free Your Imagination set, Butterfly, and of course Grunge Flourish.

I used Dylusions for the background, followed by stamping and heat embossing the Grunge Flourish in bright Pink, I then stamped the birds and ink splats from the Free Your Imagination set.

I stamped the Classic Face, and heat embossed in black, onto card already coloured with 'Bubblegum Pink' Dylusions, I rubbed over the black embossing with some with some gilding wax, and coloured her eye with a white pen.

I also heat embossed the butterflies in black, and coloured them using a brush dipped into the Dylusions. The feathers were heat embossed with gold, fussy cut, and again I used gilding wax to highlight them.

Take a look at the DT inspiration for this new Challenge HERE, and if you enter, there is a prize of £20 to spend on some yummy Visible Image stamps. You can also enter via the Facebook Group HERE, if you haven't got a blog.

Thank you for visiting, hope to see you again real soon.

Visible Image, Distress inks, Wow embossing powders, Whispers watercolour pens, Stickles.

Hi there,

Just popping in to share some of my creations, which were made using the fantastic new 'More than Words' stamp sets by Visible Image.

You may have seen them being aired on Create and Craft last week, the stamps were a total sell out, so very popular.
The sentiments were written by the lovely Helen Michelle, so are totally unique, the stamps came out of the imagination of Mark Alexander, and also made by his fair hand, total dedication from the awesome duo who own and run the Visible Image Company.

There are six sentiments sets, Wedding Day, Happy Birthday, Thinking of You, Congratulations, Thank you, and With Sympathy.
As you can see, there are so many ways you can use these very useful stamp sets.

Take a look at the Visible Image Facebook group HERE, there is always something going on.

Thank you so much for visiting, I'll be back again soon for the start of the new March Challenge.

Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks, Glossy Accents, Wow Embossing Powders, Promarkers.

Hi there,

I have very exciting news this week,
Visible Image Stamps are on Create & Craft, tomorrow Saturday 22nd February at 10am and 4pm. Mark Alexander, will be  showing fantastic, brand new stamp sets, that he has designed, with sentiments written by his partner, the lovely Helen Michelle.
Some of my projects using the new stamps will be shown, so I'm a little bit star struck, lol !!!

Here is a sneaky peek of 3 of them.......

The first one is from the new ''More than Words' sets,
I used Distress inks for the background, stamped the sentiment in Black Versafine ink,
coloured some more card, an stamped the flower several times using Versamark and heat embossed using clear powder.

I stamped the Grunge Flourish again using Black Versafine, fussy cut all the flowers, attached them with silicone gel, and added a black gem to the middles.

The second is the 'Debonair Bradley Set', again using Distress inks, I coloured and stamped the background, I made a table and a frame from card, and sketched the wood effect on them. Behind the frame I added a piece of card stamped with the car.

I stamped the cocktails, key ring and sunglasses, and fussy cut them. Stamped Bradley, coloured him with Promarkers, and also fussy cut him. His sentiment, also in the set, was stamped onto blue shrink plastic.

And for the gorgeous 'Elegant Emma Set', I found a paper mache frame, painted it, brushed it with Treasure Gold wax, made flowers from the 'Butterfly' and the 'Large Butterfly' after I had stamped and heat embossed them in silver, added some foliage from a die, and a few beads.
The sentiment, also in the set, was stamped, heat embossed in silver and added to the frame.

Emma was stamped in Memento ink and coloured with Promarkers, I fussy cut her, dressed her in a dress cut from glittered paper, made a veil from some sparkly tulle, and popped her on a stamped and coloured background, using the extra stamps in the set.

I hope you like what you see, the new stamps are very versatile, tune into Create and Craft to see more fabulous DT work.

You have just one week left to enter the 'Love' Challenge HERE, for a chance of winning £20 worth of Visible Image stamps. Please remember to read all the rules, and if you haven't got a blog, you can still enter on the Facebook Group HERE.
