Visible Image Stamps, Dylusion Paints, Distress Inks, Wow Embossing Powder and Stickles.

Helloooo,

I hope you've had a good week, I have been busy again with another
Visible Image Monolith, using another couple of awesome new stamp sets,
and I sneaked in a little bit of the sound-wave from Music Speaks, and of course all on an MDF Monolith.

After painting the MDF, I stamped a random design over it using the circle stamp from the 'Ripple Effect' set, then stamped and heat embossed the inky splat Butterfly, and glued some Butterflies that had already been stamped  coloured and fussy cut, on top using glue gel, for dimension.

On the other side I used the same colours of paint, but a different technique, and stamped and heat embossed the Ripple, and the sound-wave, then stamping and heat embossing the sentiment onto black card, and fussy cut.
I used some more butterflies for decoration, and also stamped coloured and cut out some little hearts from the sentiment.

I think I'm getting quite addicted to decorating these Monoliths, they are such fun.

Visible Image Stamps, Dylusion paints, Wow Embossing Powder, & Distress Inks.

Hi there,

I thought it was about time I decorated another Visible Image Monolith, they are such fun to do, and there are endless possibilities.

I used one of my fave Visible Image Stamps sets, from the new releases, for this project, it's stunning and I love it, it's called......
plus the fabulous Rays of Light, and the Shine Bright set
you see the theme, lol !
and of course don't forget the fabulous MDF, which come in a pack of 5......

I used Dylusion Paints on the front, a Black base, then combination of colours on top, then stamped the Rays, using white Ink, where I wanted the little light bulbs to hang. I then stamped the little bulbs and the sentiment in Black Versafine Ink, and heat embossed the wonderful Moth, onto card , coloured them in using Distress Inks, and fussy cut them all.

I added glossy accents to the bulbs, and Stickles to the Moths.

On the other side, again I painted the MDF in Black, added some paste through a stencil, and when it was dry, used Gilding wax to highlight it.
I stamped the Ray into Acetate, and heat embossed it in Yellow powder, and the large light bulb, again onto acetate, and heat embossed in Black powder. I stamped some more small light bulbs using Black ink, coloured them and then fussy cut, glued them to the MDF, and used Glossy Accents.

I wasn't happy with the large bulb being black, so using a white pen I highlighted the outline. The Moths were stamped with Stazon, onto Shrink Plastic, and I coloured them with crayons, fussy cut them, then heated and watched the magic happen......

I hope I have given you a bit of inspiration on how to decorate the MDF Monoliths.
