Visible Image Stamps, Brusho's, Distress inks, Heatproof Acetate, Wow Embossing Powder and Stickles.

Hi Crafters,

This is my first Blog of 2016, so Happy New Year, and I hope the forthcoming year brings you happiness and smiles.

This week I wanted to share an 8" x 8" card I made for the Visible Image TV show on C&C in December, using some of their awesome stamps.

The stamps I used on this project are.........

The background was created using Brusho's, the sprinkle and spritz method, onto some white 7.5" x 7.5" card, whilst it is still wet, place a harlequin design stencil on top and dry through it with kitchen roll, remove the stencil, and leave the card to dry naturally.

The eye needs to be stamped twice, onto heatproof acetate using Versamark, and heat emboss it using Black embossing powder, then fussy cut them both out. Turn one eye over thus making a pair.
On the reverse side of the eyes, (remembering that one will have the embossing on the front, and one the embossing on the back)
colour the iris with alcohol pens, then paint over the eyes with white gesso, ( you might need to do 2 coats) so when you turn them over to the front, you have a coloured  iris, and whites of the eyes.
Pop these to one side, whilst you complete the background.

Right, on your now dry background card, place the eyes in a position you're happy with, but don't glue them yet, you can gauge how much card you have left to decorate,, remove the eyes, using the Inkognito flower head, stamp the bottom half of the card using 'Mustard seed' Distress ink, then stamp over again with 'Ripe Persimmon', giving a sort of 3D look.
Using the longest bit of the flower stamp splats, stamp around the top of the card using 'Salty Ocean'.

Now attach your eyes, using glue, you can see where to stamp your sentiment, and using Versamark, and heat emboss with White Embossing powder.
Now the eyebrows, (which is the Inkognito Flower Stem), stamp using 'Mustard Seed', then stamp again using 'Salty Ocean'.
To finish off, add some white pen as the light source in the eye, use some Black Stickles around the eye, and yellow Stickles in the middle of the flowers for that bit of bling.

Have a look at the January Visible Image 'Show and Tell', and get your entry in, for a chance to win some fantastic stamps, and there's some really awesome new designs coming out very soon.

The next Visible Image Create & Craft TV appearance,
is scheduled for Saturday February 6th, at 11am,
Mr. Visible image (Mark) and myself will be demoing some fantastic new Stamp designs and......something else !!!

If you keep your eye on the Visible Image Facebook group HERE, you may well get some sneak peeks at some point......just saying !!!!

Thanks for visiting, and sorry about the rambling, lol,
Hugs, Pauline xxxxxxx
