Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks

Hi there,

It's me again, with another creation using some of the fabulous
Visible Image Stamps available.
When I saw the new Forest Background, I immediately thought of Edward, so decided he needed to be in the Forest !!!

So the stamps I used besides Forest Background are....
Edward is Immortal set, the wings from Time after Time, the new Runic Background Set, and the sentiment is from Free your Imagination set.

I made a moon mask, and coloured the background using Chipped Sapphire, thd coloured the ground with Black Soot. After taking the mask off, I coloured the moon with Mustard Seed, stamped the Runic background with Antique Linen, then stamped the Forest Background each side of the card, added some shadows, then the bats, which I highlighted with a white pen. I threw some antique gold Frantage over the card and heated from the underside. Edward and the wings were stamped with black Memento, coloured with Promarkers, and fussy cut, and added to the card, then added some black Stickles.

The sentiment was stamped onto shrink plastic, and coloured with dark blue Archival ink.

While I was waiting for the Stickles to dry, I found an odd piece of Kraft card which was 2 1/2"x 3 1/2", so I made an ATC, using......
Winter TreeTall Grass, the cat from Good Luck Cat set, and the word 'Enchanting' from Winters Miracle.

Such a quick little ATC, coloured with Distress inks, stamped and some Stickles added.

Visible Image, new release 'Fantasy' Stamps.

Hello friends,

Today is the day, that the new 'Visible Image' 'Fantasy' stamps become available, I have had a lot of fun creating with these fantastic new stamps, they are very different, and I hope you'll love them like me.

The first card was created using Fae Hope SetForest Background and the stone from Myrddin Magick set.

I used distress inks for the background, with acrylic paint for the leaves, and her wings are acetate, heat embossed, and alcohol inks on the reverse side.

Aren't her wings a fantastic stamp, I also made a butterfly using them....

Again I used acetate, heat embossed, but this time I painted the reverse side with silkies paint. I also used the shield from Orin Destiny set, which was heat embossed in clear before using distress ink.

The next card is stamped using Myrddrin Magick set....

with the addition of the Forest Background, all the characters were coloured with Promarkers.

This one was made using Runic Background set, and embossing powders, with 3 of Orin's shield's on.

Then the heroic Orin Destiny set, again with Forest Background, they are great trees, and the rock from the Myrddin Magick set.

This was made with Orin's set, I love that dragon, and I gave him some acetate fire, and sat him on the Mystical Map.

Orin's set for this tag, I think the dragon got him, hehehe.

And finally, but not least, the beautiful Fae, with the Runic Background set, I do adore her.

I do hope you love these stamps, as you see, they can all be used combined, for different looks or occasions.
Thanks for dropping in, see you again soon,

Hello again friends,

I can't believe that this time last week I was flying up to Aberdeen on this plane for the weekend, it was a tad turbulent, lol !!!

I went with lovely Helen and awesome Mark from 'Visible Image', to conduct a Demo Day on the Saturday, and we ran a workshop on the Sunday. We met some fabulous people, and we were able to show them how fantastic 'Visible Image' stamps really are.

This is Mark (Owner, designer and maker of 'Visible Image Stamps') and myself, getting ready for the Demo Day, at 'The Papeterie' Craft shop.

Anyway I digress, lol, I am here today to share a card I've made, using some great 'Visible Image' stamps, I hope you like it.

I recently bought myself an Accordion card die, so thought I'd christen it using Visible Image stamps, then made a box to put it in.

This is the front of the card.

The middle of the card.

And the back.

The stamps I used were....
I covered the frame of the card with the damask stamp, using Tumbled glass Distress ink, and around the edges I used Vintage Photo. I created little scenes using various Distress inks, and the stamps, and popped on pink Liquid pears as blossom and flowers, and used glossy accents here and there.

There's still time to enter the Visible Image Challenge, for a chance to win £20 worth of new stamps, this months theme is 'Anything goes'. Take a look at the DT inspiration, and enter HERE.

Visible Image Stamps, Distress ink, Wow Embossing Powder and Stickles.

Hello again,

We've had a teamie challenge, at Visible Image Stamps this week, where the Design Team members chose the stamps and the colours for another teamie, and challenged them make a project.
Tracy Chose the Molly Rules Set in pastel colours for me, and this is what I came up with......

I started with the backgound, using the ink splat from the set, versamark and clear powder, stamped randomly and heat embossed, when it had cooled, I blended 'Shaded Lilac' Distress ink over the top, which gave the effect of clouds.

I stamped Molly, coloured her using Promarkers, fussy cut, and mounted her onto a piece of card, which was stamped with the barbed wire in 'Spun Sugar'. I also stamped the barbed wire onto a smaller piece or card, and stamped the sentiment.

The little flower is made from the heart stamp in the set, stamped in 'Spun Sugar', fussy cut, with a gem added to the centre.

I made the bunting by stamping the skull in different colours and fussy cutting and glued them onto a piece of Tulle. Of course I gave some of the elements a dosing of stickles, lol !!!!

Don't forget to enter this Months Visible Image Challenge, the theme is 'Anything Goes', so as long as you use at least one Visible Image stamp, you could win £20 worth of new stamps, check out the DT inspiration and rules HERE.
You can also enter via the Face Book group, if you haven't got a blog, HERE.

I have to rush away now, lots to do, I am flying up to Aberdeen, with the lovely Helen, and the awesome Mark, AKA Visible Image, to conduct a demo day on Saturday 10th, and run a Workshop on Sunday 11th, at 'The Papeterie', exciting times.

Friday 2 May 2014

Lavinia Stamps, distress inks, Wow embossing powder, Twinkling H20's, Stickles and Glossy Accents.

Howdy all,

It's lovely Lavinia Stamp time again whoo hoo,
and the start of a new Challenge, the theme for May is 'Birthday Girl'.

I have made two cards as my DT inspiration, I hope you like them.

My first card is 6"x 8", the stamps used are
'Fairy Words', 'Giselle', 'Lavender', 'Stars 2' and 'Have a Fairy Happy Birthday', you can view all the stamps HERE.

I stamped the Fairy Words and the Happy Birthday in Versamark, and heat embossed with a Pink sparkle Wow powder, I stamped the stars all over the remaining card, adding stickles here and there for that must have sparkle.

On a separate piece of card, I stamped the lovely Giselle, coloured her using Twinkling H20 paints, unfortunately the photo does not show the great effect these paints have. I also stamped the Lavender, using 3 colours of Distress inks, then added stickles, (I am addicted, lol), and Glossy accents to the bubbles.
When it was all dry, I used a die, to cut it into a circle, and added a mat of bright pink.

My 2nd Card was created using,
'Spiral of Spells', 'Fayllin', 'Willow', 'Field Grass', Slender Mushrooms', 'Butterflies' and 'Miniature Toadstool', you can view all the stamps HERE.

This 6"x 6" card was coloured using Distress inks, and stamped using Spiral of spells in Tumbled Glass, Fayllin in Chipped Shapphire, then the plants were added around the card.
I coloured the Fairy wings with Promarkers, added stickles....again !!!, then little gems to the spiral.

The butterflies were stamped in Picked Raspberry, fussy cut, then, (of course) dabbed with stickles.

I hope you'll join in the Challenge, please pop over to the blog to see all the DT inspiration, they are all little works of art, have a go yourself, you don't have to have a blog, you can enter by email too, all details are HERE.

Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks, Liquid Pearls and Versafine ink.

Hi there,

Gosh, we are in to May already, the time seems to go so quickly, or is it me getting older, lol.

I'm sharing a card, created using Visible Image Stamps, there is such a fantastic selection, I never tire of using them.

I printed a picture of an old map from a free to print site, cut it to the size I wanted, coloured it with Distress inks, then scrunched it up and creased it, using Vintage Photo Distress inks on all the creases, I ripped the sides and again gave it a generous dose of Vintage Photo ink. When I eass happy with it, I attached it to some brown bazill card, which I had gone over with gilding wax.

I stamped the Castle onto a small tag, coloured it and the background with Distress inks, masked off the castle and stamped with the script stamp, then stamped the tree and added some pink liquid pearls.

Once Upon a Time was stamped onto a piece of card, cut out, and coloured.

'Imagine' and the 'birds' were stamped directly onto the map, and I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the butterfly.

The stamps used on this 6"x 8" card are.....

Do pop over to Visible Image, and check out some of their other unique stamps available, also check out the new Challenge, May's theme is 'Anything Goes', have a peep at the DT inspiration HERE.

Visible Image Stamps, Distress inks & Wow Embossing powder.

Hello there,

It's the 1st of May, and the start of a new Visible Image Challenge,
the theme for this month is 'Anything Goes',
so as long as you use at least ONE, yes one, Visible Image stamp on your project, the worlds your oyster,
and of course don't forget, there's a prize of £20 of new stamps for the winning project.

My DT inspiration is a 6"x 8" card, created using the fabulous
Sewing Room Set and the Large Butterfly stamp.

Most of the projects I've seen made using the sewing set, have been vintage, so you all know me, I love a bit of colour, so I've made it bright and very girly.
The background was created using Antique Linen with the tape measure stamp, I added a pink button hole randomly, and used the stitch stamp around the edges in Worn lipstick.

I stamped loads of the buttons and cotton reels in different shades of Distress ink, and fussy cut them. The dress form I stamped in Vintage Photo, and shaded it with Walnut stain, and coated it with glossy accents, and fussy cut it, I also stamped just the body part in Worn Lipstick, and again shaded one side, fussy cut and added it on top of the dress form as a bodice, added some pleated pink tulle and a bit of ribbon as a skirt, and popped on a sparkly gem.

The large butterfly I stamped in versamark, and heat embossed in pink Wow powder, fussy cut, and coloured with Distress ink, and glued to the back of the Dress form.

I wired some of the buttons together, to make bunting, I stamped 2 sentiments onto card, cut them out and stitched with a stamp, lol. I also added a bit of rolled tulle mixed in with the cotton reels, and mixed 3 hat pins in with the buttons.

If you haven't got a blog, and would still like to enter the Challenge, just pop over to the Visible Image Facebook Group, and add your photo stating that it's a Challenge entry.

Thank you for popping by, and thank you for your fab comments, I love reading them.

Big hugs, Pauline xxx
